Unforgettable 4 Day Trek to Poon Hill, Tadapani & Ghandruk with Mr. Binot - I recently did the classic Ghorepani–Poon Hill–Tadapani–Ghandruk trek over 3-4 days, and it was one of the most rewarding short treks I’ve ever experienced in Nepal. A big reason it went so smoothly was our tour guide, Mr. Binod—professional, friendly, and very attentive throughout the journey. Day 1: Start to Ghorepani The trail was a mix of stone steps, forest paths, and small villages. It was challenging at times (especially the uphill sections), but the views and atmosphere kept it exciting. Mr. Binod managed the pace really well—never rushed, always checking on the group and making sure everyone stayed comfortable. Day 2: Poon Hill Sunrise + Trek to Tadapani The early morning hike to Poon Hill was absolutely worth it. Watching the sunrise light up the Himalayas—Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges—was unforgettable. Mr. Binod timed everything perfectly so we reached the viewpoint at the right moment and helped with photo spots too. After sunrise, we continued toward Tadapani, passing through beautiful rhododendron forests and quiet mountain trails. The day was long but scenic, and the guide kept us motivated with breaks at the right times. Day 3: Tadapani to Ghandruk This section felt like a perfect balance—great views, peaceful walking, and a cultural highlight. Ghandruk was charming, with traditional houses, mountain backdrops, and a calm village vibe. Mr. Binuth shared helpful local context and made the experience feel more meaningful than just “walking from point A to B.” (Optional) Day 4: Extra Day / Flexible Finish If you do this trek in 4 days, it becomes much more relaxed—more time for rest, photos, and enjoying the villages without feeling rushed. An amazing experience in the Himalayas - We had an amazing experience thanks to our guide Bikram. He showed us the most beautiful places, spoke excellent English, and knew exactly where to find delicious, organic local food. He also knew great accommodations with stunning views. What we especially appreciated was his recommendation to add an extra day to visit the village of Tolka. We followed his advice, and it turned out to be a fantastic decision and one of the highlights of our trip. Bikram took care of everything, was always thoughtful and attentive, and on top of that, he was very cheerful and great company. We truly wish everyone a guide like Bikram and would highly recommend him!
