Ulleri to Ghorepani (2,860m)
Ghorepani - After breakfast, embark on a 6-7 hour trek to Ghorepani. The journey involves climbing numerous stone steps until Ulleri, where the path becomes more gentle. Along the way, pass through charming villages like Tikhedhunga, Ulleri, and Banthanti, home to the Magar community. Experience the authenticity of these settlements and the beauty of Nepal’s oak and famous rhododendron forests.
Sunrise at Poonhill, then trek to Tadapani (2,630m)
Ghorepani - Start early for a 1.5-hour trek to Poon Hill to witness the stunning sunrise between 5:15 am and 6:15 am. Enjoy a warm cup of tea or coffee at the hill. After the sunrise, return to Ghorepani, which takes about an hour, and continue the journey to Tadapani, approximately 6-7 hours.
Tadapani to Chhomrong (2,170m)
Chhomrong - Enjoy a leisurely hike today. Begin with a gentle climb, then descend to Kimrong Khola. Another easy ascent follows, with the trail leveling out, allowing time to appreciate the surrounding landscapes, meet the Magar and Gurung locals, and admire the towering mountain peaks.
Chhomrong to Bamboo (2,310m)
Chhomrong - After breakfast, descend to Chomrong Khola, enjoying the refreshing breeze. Cross a swaying suspension bridge and immerse in the beauty of bamboo, rhododendron, and oak forests as you ascend. Reach Kuldi at 2,470m, then carefully descend damp stone steps. This moist environment gives Bamboo its name, a cozy spot with teahouses for trekkers nestled in a picturesque gorge.
Bamboo to Deurali (3,230m)
Deurali - Today, the trek through a bamboo forest and a steep climb to Hinku Cave will be without mountain views. Descend to Deurali, which consists mainly of teahouses for trekkers rather than a traditional village.
Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m) via Machapuchare Base Camp
Annapurna Base Camp - Enjoy stunning sunsets over Fishtail and sunrises over Annapurna I, with a glacier in view as the trek continues to Annapurna Base Camp. The journey passes through the narrow Modi Khola Valley to Machhapuchhare Base Camp, known for its panoramic views of the Hinchhuli, Annapurna ranges, and Machhapuchhare. Although there is no actual Machhapuchhare Base Camp, as climbing the mountain is prohibited, the area is part of the Annapurna Sanctuary, surrounded by the Annapurna and Machhapuchhare peaks.

Bamboo to Jhinu Danda (1,780m)
Jhinu Danda Hot Spring - After yesterday’s descent, begin with an uphill trek to Kuldighar. Then, descend to Chomrong River and climb stone steps back to Chomrong village before heading down to Jhinu Danda. Before dinner, consider a short 20-minute walk to the hot springs by the river for a relaxing end to the day.
Jhinu Danda Hot Spring - Jhinu Danda Hot Spring is the perfect place to relax sore muscles after completing the Annapurna Base Camp Trek. It’s a natural hot spring located in a scenic spot along the Modi Khola river, offering stunning mountain views.
The pool’s temperature ranges from 37°C to 40°C (98°F to 104°F), ideal for relaxation. Soak in the hot water and let your worries melt away while enjoying the beautiful surroundings.
Jhinu Danda to Pokhara by 4WD Drive
