Devi’s Fall: Also known as Davi’s Fall or Devi’s Fall, this waterfall is situated in Pokhara, Kaski District, Nepal. The water creates an underground tunnel after descending, which is about 500 feet (150 m) long and runs 100 feet (30 m) below the surface. On July 31, 1961, a Swiss couple named Davi went swimming, but the woman tragically drowned in a pit due to the overflow. Her body was found three days later in the Phusre River after much effort. Her father requested it be named “Davi’s Falls” in her memory. In Nepali, it is called Patale Chango, meaning “underworld waterfall.”

• Gupteswar Gupha - Gupteshwor Cave: This cave was reportedly discovered in the 16th century by local men clearing grass. Inside the dark cave, they found numerous shrines and statues dedicated to Shiva and other Hindu deities, including Mahadev and Parvati, Nageswor, and Saraswati. Towards the rear of the cave, they discovered a waterfall flowing through it.

• World Peace Pagoda - World Peace Stupa: The World Peace Pagoda in Pokhara, Nepal, is painted a stunning white and is perched on a hill overlooking the Annapurna Mountain range, which reflects off Lake Phewa Tal below. It is considered one of the most tranquil peace pagodas globally. Constructed shortly after World War II by Buddhist monks from the Japanese Nipponzan Myohoji organization, the World Peace Pagoda is one of over 80 such pagodas worldwide, built to promote peace among all races and creeds. A visit from Lakeside in Pokhara is highly recommended, especially for the breathtaking views.
