- Spiaggia Rosa - Capture photos in front of one of the world’s most beautiful and protected beaches: the renowned Pink Beach, a spectacular natural wonder. Spiaggia Rosa is part of the Maddalena Geomarine National Park, an area of immense natural significance. Due to its special protection, walking on the beach or swimming in its waters is prohibited. Located just north of Spargi, the island is famous for its legendary Pink Beach. The coral-colored sand, vibrant sea colors, and granite formations create a unique global spectacle. A natural monument to be admired in reverent silence.
The Pink Beach of Budelli, famously featured in Michelangelo Antonioni’s film “Red Desert,” is situated southeast of Budelli Island in the La Maddalena Archipelago, known for its distinctive coral pink hue.
- Caprera - Cala Portese, Shipwreck Beach
- Porto della Madonna - Porto della Madonna, also known as Manto della Madonna, is located in the northern part of the archipelago, nestled between the islands of Budelli, Razzoli, and Santa Maria. It features a stunning expanse of crystal-clear water, resembling a natural pool, with beaches of fine white sand facing a transparent sea. Some coves allow swimming, while others are restricted to preserve this extraordinary natural wonder.

Parco Nazionale dell’Arcipelago di La Maddalena - Razzoli and Santa Maria
These islands are nearly connected by the Passo degli Asinelli. Razzoli Island, the northernmost, is notable for its majestic cliffs and rock formations reminiscent of Moore’s sculptures. The lighthouse overlooking the Straits of Bonifacio is both impressive and evocative. Santa Maria hosts an ancient convent where Benedictine monks, fleeing Bonifacio in the Middle Ages, found refuge. It boasts a beautiful beach, Cala S.Maria, one of the largest in the Archipelago. In the tranquility of Santa Maria, screenwriter Franco Solinas, a distinguished figure in world cinema, penned many significant works of Italian “engaged” cinema. In these inspiring surroundings, Gian Maria Volontè finds solace, sailing alone among the islands and the Archipelago’s fierce winds.
The Port Madonna
This lagoon, with its emerald sea, is enclosed between the islands of Budelli, Razzoli, and S.Maria. It is undoubtedly the most enchanting spot in the Park.
