Unforgettable Day at Amphawa & Maeklong Markets! - From start to finish, it was a seamless and exciting experience. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole day fun and informative. The Maeklong Railway Market was unlike anything I’ve ever seen—watching the train come through the middle of the market while vendors quickly pulled back their awnings was thrilling and surreal. It’s amazing how the whole process happens so smoothly, like a perfectly choreographed dance. Next, we visited the Amphawa Floating Market, which was lively and colorful with a wonderful mix of local food, souvenirs, and boat vendors. We especially enjoyed the boat ride through the canals at sunset—it was peaceful and gave us a unique view of the local way of life. Don’t miss the grilled seafood and coconut ice cream! This tour gives you a great glimpse into Thai culture beyond the big cities. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for something authentic, vibrant, and a little bit magical.

Great tour - I went on this tour with my fiance whocg ended up just being us on the tour. Suan is a very knowledgeable guide and pointed out buildings and structures of interest on our drive out to the maekong railway market and giving us information about some of the produce at the railway and amphawa markets. Seeing the fireflies from the longboat was also a lovely experience. Would definitely recommend.

A great way to experience the culture and religious appreciation that the people of Thailand have of the Buddha!! - The trip was wonderful. I loved the enthusiasm and dedication that our guide brought to the tour. She was very helpful during the train market when I was slow in navigating on the tracks due to a concern about twisting an already weak ankle. She was always great at identifying the best vantage pints for photos and things to see. Her English was a little difficult to always follow but I wouldn’t want to have someone other than her. Instead, perhaps it would be helpful to have some written guide notes to go along with her wonderful enthusiasm. Thank you for a great time!

One more turistada - She's a tourist, I don't doubt she made her business sense to people there many years ago, but now it's crazy. Not bad but nothing happens if someone decides not to go, in Thailand there are more interesting things.

Wonder Suan - Our tour guide Suan was very professional, cheerful and knowledgeable of key landmarks and trivial surroundings along the journey. She was watchful of my family members during the Mae Klong railway market, Wat Bang Kung and Amphawa floating market and provided excellent suggestions on market vendors. Amphawa floating market was a little underwhelming with many closed vendors and businesses as it apparently was greatly affected by the pandemic a few years ago which is understandable. Overall, I happily recommend Suan and the Wonder Siam team for this tour itinerary.

Very disappointing trip - We were really disappointed with this trip. We were the only ones on the trip so may have been different experience than if in a group. Our guide Suan did not speak English well and she did not seem to understand our questions at all (and we had difficulty understanding her) so communication with her was not good. She really did not provide any guidance or information and we may as well have just arranged for a driver without a guide. The railway market part of the trip was fun but after that the trip deteriorated. There was no information provided about the temple so we just briefly wandered around there. We ended up with 3 hours at the amphawa market before the boat trip and there was nothing much to do. Not many market stalls open. You can see everything in less than an hour. We asked the guide for recommendations of where to eat as we wanted to sit at a restaurant but she did not provide recommendations. She just grabbed food from street stalls and tried to push at us which was not what we wanted to eat. We were largely left to fend for ourselves while the guide went to have a massage (?!) which we thought was really not very professional (though honestly it made no difference not having her with us anyway). The boat trip was underwhelming. The boat stops by some trees and you see some fireflies in the bushes. The trip back was a mess with a lot of construction so instead of an hour to hour and a half trip, we sat in traffic for nearly 2 1/2 hours. Apparently it is always like this according to the guide. She hardly said a word to us the whole way back. We didn’t get back to our hotel until well after 10 pm. We were frustrated and disappointed and couldn’t get out of that car fast enough by the end.
