Excellent tour of... - Excellent tour of Pompeii! My husband and I learned so much in only 2 hours. Definitely recommend booking this as you won't know what you're looking at walking through the ancient city otherwise.

The best guide in pompeii - we had very good experiences with Francesco, we found him at the gate when he just finished his tour. We stopped him to ask if he wanted to give us a tour, we didn’t plan well so we had to find a randomly guide like this, but in the end we are super lucky!
Francesco works on the Pompeii site as an archeologist for long time, so what he gave us was not only stories, but also his work research, you will learn a lot new knowledge from his guide. He made it very interesting and easy to follow!

A fantastic day immersed in everyday life two thousand years ago - Pompeii is an extraordinary archaeological site, capable of taking you back in time. Walking through the ruins of the ancient Roman city, destroyed by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD, is a unique experience: cobbled streets, well-preserved frescoes and houses tell the daily life of two thousand years ago. A place rich in history and charm, striking for its atmosphere suspended in time. A must for those who love art, history and archaeology. An exceptional guide, competent and who loves his work and also transmits it to others

There are things you cannot visit, for everything else there is Francesco! - We were 4 to visit Pompeii taking advantage of the learned guide of Francis. We arrived thinking we were prepared, after watching the programs of A. Angela and Fr. Cazzullo and we thought we knew enough. Instead we were surprised by the amount of information, anecdotes and explanations that Francis gave us. It is one thing to have a guide who tells you "by heart" what there is to see, another an archaeologist who has excavated firsthand in Pompeii and Herculaneum and tells you what he has discovered directly! Money well spent! Highly recommended!!

Best Pompeii tour guide - Met with Francesco for the tour. He was one of the best guides I have had, his direct knowledge and ability to point out the little bits was extremely good and made the tour that much better. We were able to navigate through Pompeii to see the best bits quickly and efficiently with lots of extra pointers of where to go and look later.
