Mario was a great guide,... - Mario was a great guide, informative and funny. He made time for the less mobile parties and talked about the area while we waited.

Best day in Italy, spectacular views, learnt so much about the volcano and the history. - Our guide Mario was exceptional. Very knowledgeable and we loved learning about the history of the volcano, Naples, Pompeii and surrounding areas from him. Our geologist guide on top of the volcano was amazing also learning about the different rocks and the workings of the volcano. Both guides made this trip so worthwhile. Well worth the climb up to the rim. The views were absolutely spectacular. Best day I have had in Italy. Can highly recommend.❤️

Great experience and knowledgeable guide - Mario was an excellent guide. Full of information and interesting details. Driver was good and minibus was prompt. We enjoyed this tour very much and highly recommend it to anyone going to the area. Definitely worth checking out!!

Mount Vesuvius tour - Mario was our guide and was very knowledgeable regarding the tour, and was considerate with having a few stops up the hill. It lasted a couple of hours and was not too strenuous. I would tell anyone to take this tour, as its a must see if you are visiting Pompei aswell. It's a long day, but we'll worth it.

Great tour with lots of information - Great tour with lots of information! Mario was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He made the trip a lot of fun. Vesuvius is definitely one of the best things we visited in the area - you must include this activity!! The hike is physically demanding. Our only complaint was meeting up at the start of the tour. Instructions said to look for a guide with a sign “Askos” outside Hortus restaurant. The Sign is a clipboard and it wasn’t being held up or visible since Mario was writing on it. Also, the group met outside the Pompei ruins entrance, which is across the road from where we were told to meet. No big deal and it all worked out. Askos were immediately in touch with us to check on our delay so it was all good in the end.

Amazing Vesuvio Tour – Learned a Lot About Vesuvio, Pompeii and Naples - Huge thanks to Mario and Luigi for making our Vesuvio trip so special! The climb was breathtaking, and the stories about Vesuvio, Pompeii, and Naples made the whole experience come alive. Highly recommend this excursion!

Cancelled tour-poor weather - Unfortunately due to the weather and poor mountain conditions (rain, thunder) the tour was cancelled. The guide himself was very responsive to our questions and alerted Viator for me that it was cancelled. Waiting on refund

Ripped Off By TripAdvisor - Was ripped off by TripAdvisor and their affiliate. Paid for tickets. Was never given an address. Walked up the mountain to the volcano only to be told I didn’t have the right ticket. Would not recommend. No response from provider or TripAdvisor
