• Pompeii Archaeological Park - Guests will be collected from their DA hotel in either a Classic Car or Minivan, depending on the group size. A Guide or Driver will greet guests inside the hotel and confirm their reservation. The journey to Pompeii takes approximately 2 hours, with a 15-20 minute break for coffee or a sandwich at a refreshment stop. Although the route to Pompeii is not particularly scenic, travelers can enjoy views of Vesuvius. In Pompeii, visitors will explore an ancient Roman city near modern Naples. Pompeii, along with Herculaneum and many nearby villas, was buried under 4-6 meters (13-20 feet) of volcanic ash and pumice during the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD. The inhabitants were also buried before they could escape. The ticket for the excavation site is included in the price, and a private official Guide is provided.

Guests can enjoy strolling, shopping, and dining at one of the local restaurants. The cost of dining is not included in the price, but travelers are reminded that, in addition to restaurants, there are many cafes offering pizza slices or sandwiches.
