Pompei in a Few Hours - We recently visited Italy and booked a tour with Viator of the Pompei Ruins. It was exceptional. While we saw hundreds upon hundreds of people standing in incredibly long lines in 95 degree heat, we walked straight into the city and ruins of Pompei without waiting a minute. The guide was incredibly informative and interesting. We would have missed nearly all of the interesting history he had to share with us. Frankie was our guide's name and he was awesome! It was an incredible experience. Definitely book a skip the line entrance tour with this company. It was outstanding!

Rich hostory - Take the tour with a tour guide cause it’s easy to get lost in the city! My tour guide was great as he took us to the house first when no one was there and by the time we were finished people were starting to come in so that was nice! It’s very hot with no shade and limited sitting. Lots of uneven surfaces, steps and walking and no bathrooms in the city. I loved This tour as i have Been obsessed with Pompeii since i was A little girl, so beat to see in real life!

Fantastic Pompeii Tour! - We requested Frankie as our guide based on previous reviews—and he absolutely lived up to the hype! From the moment the tour began, Frankie had us smiling, learning, and fully engaged. “Mama Mia! Follow Frankie!” became our family’s catchphrase for the day! We had family members of all ages on the tour, and he managed to connect with everyone, making the rich history of Pompeii come alive through storytelling, humor, and passion. His energy was contagious, and he made what could have been a long, hot walk feel like an adventure. Our visit to Pompeii was unforgettable, and Frankie was a huge part of that. Highly recommend him for anyone visiting—ask for Frankie and follow the fun!

Franky is awesome! - Our guide, Franky was great and very knowledgeable. He brought us the shade when possible on a hot day and was a 5 out of 5. Made the experience better - without him it would have been disappointing.

Great small group tour - This was a great way to get an overview of Pompei without being overloaded with information. Getting to enter the grounds early before general admission was a definite perk. We were able to see so much and cover quite a bit before the crowds and the heat rose. Our guide was so informative and moved us along pointing out a lot of interesting discoveries we would not have known what we were looking at without a personal guide.

My party follow Frankie! - Frankie was great! He made it a fun experience and everyone he stopped he put us in the shade as best he could which helped my elderly mother stay cooler. He was kind and funny. He needs t shirts!

Fantastic visit! - Our guide Anna was amazing! His good humor, his high level of knowledge and his concern for the well-being of the whole group, characterized our visit. Despite a visit that was almost entirely in the rain and storms, this experience is memorable. NB. 2 hours with the guide was enough to get a good feel for the historical context, but if you are able to stay and walk afterwards, it is ideal. The site is so big that even in 7:00, I didn’t see all the points on the map!
