Phenomenal! - Phenomenal! The tour guides were AMAZING!!! The archeologist was incredibly engaging and full of wonderful insights. They canceled inside of 24 hours, but Viator refunded my money and I was able to purchase the same tour for the same price 2 days later. Great service, great tour, top notch!!

Wonderful small group tour with local, English-speaking guides. Delicious and authentic Italian group lunch experience. - PierFrancesco and Francesco are an excellent tour pair (Guide and Driver). My hotel arranged this group tour for me. It was a wonderful day of sightseeing and good company with fellow travelers in our small group. There were six who were picked up from and delivered back to our two respective hotels in Naples. We were joined by three others from a cruise ship in Pompeii. The historical sites were amazing. Local guides who spoke English were on site to guide us through Pompeii in the morning and Herculaneum after our delicious Italian lunch.

Excellent way to see Pompeii and Herculaneum - You have limited time and so much you want to see. What to do? The solution was undoubtedly Worldtours. I got to see both Pompeii and Herculaneum in one day, with a very good lunch punctuating the visit. Our guide, Pierfrancesco was friendly and professional, speaking impeccable English. Our driver, Francesco, was efficient, driving safely and quickly in the often crazy Napoli traffic. We had a professional guide at both Pompeii and Herculaneum. The guide for Herculaneum in particular was outstanding, giving us clear and interesting explanations and making sure that we saw everything without getting caught up with the unexpectedly large number of school groups who were there at the same time. All in all, it was a fantastic way to see a lot and everything went absolutely to plan, from pick up to drop off at the end. Very, very highly recommended. Bravo! thank you!

Pompeii and Herculaneum small group w/lunch - Great experience all around. Lunch was a perfect break in the day with some pasta and pizza. We had the van driver, co-ordinator and two different guides. Every one was amazing and knew their subjects. No question was left unanswered. Pompeii is vast and a little overwhelming if you think in terms of learning and seeing it all in a couple of hours. But so worth the experience. Herculaneum is a smaller excavated area and as such, at the end we felt that we had seen what there was to see. One needs to see both places and this was a great way to do it.
I highly recommend the smaller group tours so you can easily ask questions and stay with what the guides are saying. My husband is blind and despite the paths and roads being 2000 years old, he was able to keep up with the tour and everyone was so very kind when we lagged a bit. 10/10!

Interesting and pleasant. Easy to adapt entry ticket times so no need for the rushed afternoon - Dear client,
The all day Pompeii Herculaneum tour with Paola as our organizer, Patsy as our driver, and Rafael as our guide was pleasant. Both sites are very interesting. However, our afternoon tour of Herculaneum was rushed. The guide walked too quickly and spoke so fast that at times we could not understand. We suggest that instead of having us mill around the Pompeii entrance and souvenir area for 45 minutes after lunch because our Herculaneum ticket entries were not until 2 pm that the tour purchase tickets for Herculaneum starting at 1:30 pm rather than 2 pm. That would afford us more time at Herculaneum so we would not be so rushed there.

Reminiscent of the Roman Empire - To begin with, we had to get up early a lot to leave 45 minutes later than agreed. However the guide was attentive and the tour of Pompeii enriching. The food included in the tour leaves to be desired, reminded me of the years of dining at school. Herculaneum, he takes it with his hand.

Instead of guidance I was given an audio guide - The driver and guide along the way, called Raffaele Battiloro, very good and friendly and spoke all languages. But I had hired a tour in Spanish and since there were not enough people they put us in a group in English, both in Pompeii and Herculaneum, with an audio guide, what a reel.
