Meeting point, in front of the Hortus Restaurant. For those arriving by Circumvesuviana train, get off at the Pompei Villa dei Misteri stop. Upon exiting the station, go on the right side and walk for two minutes.

Expert guide with a fun and interest tour - Expert guide that walked us around providing a interesting “class” about life in Ancient Roman times. He showed depth of knowledge answering our (several) questions. Most importantly, he was fun and excited about the topics.

Waking tour in Pompei with tour guide Amedeo - The private tour was astonishingly well done, this was my first time visiting Pompeii and it couldn’t have been better the tour guide Amedeo. He showed us many different aspects of life before and after the eruption ultimately giving us valuable insight and knowledge. We learnt lots about the houses, shops, commercial business, how the environments have changed overtime (once a port close to the ruins), the markets and gathering places, that there was more to this city than marble including colours like red, yellow( easiest colours to make) and more rare ones like blue and green (some of which you can still see today as they have been preserved), the first hand painting in both the houses and the public gathering points, some of the bodies that were buried due to suffication, body damage or ash now of which covered in ash. This is just a small glimpse into everything that we were told. Amedeo defenitely made this tour both interesting and amusing which I can further confidently say suitable for all ages.

Amedeo was great! - My first trip to Pompeii was so interesting and intriguing yet also fun because Amedeo our tour guide was very informative, insightful and fun. Amedeo took us around Pompeii taught the history and meaning of literally everything, he was insightful every detail of an ancient painting manifesting meanings also providing thoughts or glimpses into the caring world of Pompeii 2000 years ago. He showed my family things random leisure goers strolling through Pompeii people wouldn’t have thought about. The information was deeper than you could ever imagine. Overall the tour was incredible, fun, packed with information and most of all memorable in the greatest way possible. I highly recommend and praise Amedeo, and this tour.

Fantastic 3hours with the amazing Amadeu. - Fantastic 3hours with the knowledgeable and friendly Amadeu. As this was not our first time to Pompeii, he was able to share new information on this amazing and expansive archeological sight. The stories shared kept our whole family, including children, immersed and entertained for the full 3hours. Special mention to tour operator Eliana, who did not receive our booking from the website but was still able to arrange a guide and get him to us within the hour, thus saving the day.

Private Pompeii with Amadeu - We really enjoyed the knowledge and company of our guide, Amadeu, on our private walking tour of Pompeii. He shared interesting facts and kept everyone in our group interested and engaged. Highly recommend skipping the line and booking a tour with Amadeu to avoid the crowds and maximize your time here at this amazing historical site.
