Real unmissable - Pompeii is a real experience which can not be missed if you're an history lover like me! The audioguide on my smartphone worked ok and it was quick and informative at the same time. Good!!

Spectacular - Pompeii is massive. I spent three hours wandering around, and it was an unforgettable experience. The digital audioguide was really helpful, although it took a bit to download due to the spotty connectivity in the area. A tip for next time: download the app before you go to make the most of your visit!

Could have been no stars.....but for a great bit of customer service! - There was a bit of a mix up with collecting our tickets from the Vox City booth (it was unmanned) but as luck would have it a Vox City representative was in the hotel reception area behind us and saw us loitering. She was very helpful, very professional and got us sorted with tickets very quickly. If it hadn't been for her I'd be leaving a no star review. The only other wrinkle was the audio guide. It's not massively accurate with the GPS and would just come on randomly. In the end we all gave up on it and just manually searched for locations and played the audio. The audio descriptions were also pretty brief and didn't give a lot of information. All in all not a terrible experience but not a great one either.

Pompeii is huge - Collecting the ticket was very easy and the collection point is right next to the entry gate. We downloaded the audio guide but it did not work well with my headphones and really didn’t seem too helpful. Be sure to pick of a map of the grounds when you enter. We suggest including a map that provides navigation.. The site is so big and difficult to navigate. Providing real time directions would be an enormous benefit. We also suggest the ability to create an itinerary of sites with in Pompeii visitors are interested in seeing.

Interesting visit, disappointing experience - I booked the tickets through TripAdvisor. When I was to pick up the tickets, the booking was not registered with the operator. I spent 1 hour in 36 degrees getting the entrance fixed. I didn't get in touch with TripAdvisor for help.

There wasn't much of a line to skip, and the audio wasn't worth it! - The Digital Audio Guide stinks! There is no prescribed order, the GPS map didn't work (Google's GPS worked), and the audio provided very little information.

View to Pompeii - We bought tickets to visit Pompeii, getting the ticket was very complicated, AMAZING that they are not sent to the mobile like other companies, you could only redeem the ticket in one of the tickets to Pompeii. The audio guide was very uncomfortable, explanations jumped when we were not on site.

Do not book with Vox City - DO NOT book with Vox City. When we finally got to tge voucher redemption site, the building was closed and locked. I ended up having to purchase tickets again at the gate. Fortunately it was not busy and we got in. We had the same issue in Naples with the Archiological museum, but they were nice and let us in. These were the only tours I booked through TripAdvisor and I probably will never do it again. I was not going to walk away after traveling all the way from Rome. Just lucky that we went in low season.

False advertising - If I could give this 0 I would. The Advertising is very misleading. They call it skip the line audio guided tour. Then once you’ve paid for it they send you and email that says this is not your Ticket! You have to go to their kiosk/counter outside the gate to exchange your voucher for a ticket. However if you’re a planner like me and go the day before so you can actually skip the line, they tell you No you have to come back on the day of the ticket ( so 2 trips to the entrance of Pompeii with its incredible parking.) Then it’s NOT an audio Guided tour it’s just a bunch of (133) points on a map with no suggested direction, you just wander around not knowing where to go. Also even though we downloaded it on our phones most of the audio would not play.
