A fantastic tour - Manuela was fantastic. An amazing guide that taught us a lot of history in a very entertaining and informative fashion. We loved Pompeii and left with a fantastic appreciation of the devastation that took place. The people who lived in Pompeii were very intuitive and set up a modern and thriving community. We were in awe of the amenities we saw.
If you go to Pompeii, ask for Manuela. She was fantastic. We only had 2 hours and wish we had at least another 1-2 hours.

Pompei guided tour - Very informative, good pace. Our guide Luca was great to make sure everyone could see what he was talking about. He was excited to show us a new area that just opened to the public 2 weeks

Highly highly recommend... - Highly highly recommend doing Pompeii with a guide. We learned so much more than we would have by exploring on our own. Our guide was knowledgeable, funny, and seemed to know everyone working at the park. Absolutely worth it.

A great introduction to Pompeii - We had a great time with our guide. We found her to be very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The pace at which the tour took place was just right, with enough time allowed to look and take photos, not hanging around or being rushed.
We also appreciated her ability to slightly modify the tour as we had children with us, so she was a little more discreet regarding some of the more sexual content and provided a little warning so that we could prepare the children with an age appropriate explanation for what they were about to see.

Great tour - Our tour guide was an Italian who spoke English well. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. She also seemed to know the employees at the site, which helped with lines etc. She also gave us ideas of what to do after the tour, including the ruins and other places in Pompeii and Naples. Great job!

Great Experience, Highly Recommend - We had a lovely time with Mary--she was not only extremely well-informed on Pompeii, but also an incredibly engaging guide. We felt like the tour was personalized to show us the perfect highlight of what we wanted to see, and she made a great effort to provide us with the best experience possible in the time we had together. She took care of tickets and made the process seamless for our family.
Alexis and the team at Mondo Guide were also incredibly responsive and helpful, in particular when our plans shifted and we needed an earlier tour.

Amazing tour - We LOVED this tour. Vincenzo was fantastic. Very informative, great personality, obvious passion for the history, great wealth of information and interesting stories, and even a few great jokes! This was a major highlight of our trip.

Even though I’ve always... - Even though I’ve always studied about Pompei as a kid, I had no idea how big the area was. Having a tourguide like Roberta was amazing and crucial to getting the most out of the experience. She was funny, elegant and knowledgeable. She truly made the entire visit memorable. We did the 3 hour tour and it was the perfect amount of time to see everything and not be bored.
