Carmine exceedingly knowledgeable - Carmine is exceedingly knowledgeable with both a history background and an archeology background, making him an excellent guide. He also walked us through the site at a pace that my husband could manage (after an unfortunate fall the day before our tour).

Best private tour - This is the only tour of Pompeii you should book. Our guide Carmine was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, made the experience so memorable. We highly recommend booking the private tour vs the group tour as you get so much more information and detail about the ruins as well as the history. The communication was excellent the entire way from start to finish. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to do a private tour at a reasonable price.

Daniela was wonderful! - Daniela was an amazing guide, friendly and very knowledgeable about the ruins, and the history of Pompeii. She catered the tour to what we wanted to see and gave great tips for viewing the rest of the ruins on our own. I absolutely loved it. She answered all my questions and is clearly very familiar with all aspects of Pompeii. I can’t wait to come back again and book her again.

Guided tour with Claudia +++ - Guide Claudia made the tour in perfect French. His choice of sites was very judicious and his anecdotes top. Adults and teens loved, learned and we would all have stayed longer to know even more!

Pompous with Claudia 😀 - Very nice discovery of Pompei with Claudia who made us discover with emotion this wonderful site. Great guide to an amazing place - Carmine was an excellent guide. He was great with our two children, 7 and 11, and kept their attention for almost the whole 3 hours. He is charming, funny and relaxed, knows the Pompeii intimately and is friendly with every other tour guide. Thoroughly recommend.

Outstanding Private Tour of Pompeii with Daniela - We booked a private tour of Pompeii for our family of four — my grandparents, my mother, and myself — and it ended up being one of the highlights of our entire trip. Our guide, Daniela, was absolutely fantastic. She was incredibly kind, patient, and calm throughout, while also being deeply knowledgeable and engaging. Daniela tailored the experience perfectly to our group, keeping everyone interested and comfortable. Her explanations brought Pompeii to life in a way that made us truly appreciate the history and humanity behind the ruins. We all walked away saying how grateful we were to have had her as our guide. It was an unforgettable experience, and we can’t recommend Daniela enough!
