This experience goes beyond a simple wine tasting; it is a historical journey that unveils the estate, its distinctive production methods, and its profound ties to the land of Pompeii.
Participants have the opportunity to delve into the origins of ancient winemaking practices, including the revival of Roman amphora wine production, as it was practiced 2,000 years ago. The tour features:
- A visit to the 18th-century farmhouse
- A stroll through the experimental vineyard
- A stop at the Necropolis of 79 AD
- An exploration of the winemaking room
- A visit to the refining room with wooden barrels and amphorae
