The rendezvous point is at Porta Marina Superiore Pompeii, one of the primary entrances to the Pompeii Ruins. After the Pompeii tour, a local train will transport you to Herculaneum. Expect a 10-minute walk to reach the Herculaneum Archaeological Site once you arrive.

5* tour with Giusy, highly recommended - Really fantastic tour with Giusy.
She kindly contacted me on WhatsApp the day before and gave us really clear directions about how to get to the meeting point from our hotel. She was waiting for us at the station on arrival in Pompeii and we then had an absolutely brilliant tour of both Pompeii and Herculaneum.
Giusy's English is fantastic and her knowledge of history was outstanding. She took her time to show us a huge amount, answered all our questions and gave us real insight into both sites.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Giusy. Don't think twice about booking this private tour.

We had an incredible time... - We had an incredible time with Giusephine! She was knowledgeable, patient, and extremely accommodating. My kids learned a lot, and the whole family truly enjoyed the tour. We were especially impressed by her flexibility; she was willing to adjust our plans late the night before the trip to suit our needs. Her communication was prompt, detailed, and warm. I highly recommend her to anyone!

Amazing Tour by the Best Tour Guide! - Giusy (Josephine) was an amazing tour guide!!! She did an excellent job going over the history of Pompeii and Herculaneum. She got us safely to both sites and made it so easy and even gave us instructions on how to get back to our Airbnb. Her tour is by far the best we’ve had in Italy. Her love of history shines through, and she was even able to keep our 3 teens engaged which is hard to do. I highly recommend her tour and can’t say enough good things about it. Our family will forever treasure the time spent at Pompeii and Herculaneum because she made it so special.

Fantastic day in Pompeii and Herculaneum - Our tour was nothing less than amazing! Romolo was so great. He not only had vast amounts of knowledge, he was fun, kind, engaging, and very passionate about his Pompeii and Herculaneum. If you want a fantastic easy going fun tour look no further you have found it! Ask for Romolo. Thanks Romolo we loved your time touring. John and Tracie.

Great guide! Great experience! - What an amazing day spent with a very knowledgeable guide! Pompeii and Herculaneum were filled with so much history and artifacts. We stopped between sites at a great spot for lunch. Would recommend this to anyone! Josephine was our guide and we thought she was GREAT!

Our visit to that ancient... - Our visit to that ancient civilization was excellent. Our guide, Paolo from Ciao Tours, has deep knowledge of life in the city, its engineering and inner workings, its art. With him, the ancient cities came to life. It was a wonderful experience. Paolo is very fluent in English and Spanish, and possibly other languages as well. Thank you, Paolo! We will never forget this.
