• Pompeii Archaeological Park - Porta Marina Superiore: The guide will meet visitors outside the archaeological park holding a “Pompeii Vip” sign. This entrance marks the western gateway to the city, named “Marina” because the road led to the sea. Admission tickets are not included, but a link to purchase them online is provided.
• Forum - The Civil Forum was the hub of daily life in the city, surrounded by all the main public buildings for city administration and justice, business management, commercial activities like markets, and the primary places of city worship.
• Terme del Foro - Forum Baths: These are among the best-preserved structures in the city. Although not large, they contained all the facilities typical of Roman baths. They were divided into male and female sections, each with its own entrance. Previously used as a storage area for archaeological materials, the Baths have revealed painted surfaces that were previously hidden by thick deposits.
• Pompeii Archaeological Park - The pinnacle of Roman residential architecture is showcased along this boulevard, culminating in a visit to the Tower of Mercury.
• Casa delle Nozze d’Argento - This house is a grand and majestic example of a Pompeian aristocrat’s residence. It was named after the visit of royals Umberto I and Margaret of Savoy during their silver wedding celebration in 1893.
• House of Caecilius Jucundus - This house belonged to a Pompeian banker, and his entire archive of 154 waxed writing tablets, dating from 53 to 62 A.D., was found intact. These included contracts for the sale of land, animals, or slaves, and receipts for colonial tax payments, as Lucius Caecilius Jucundus was also the official tax collector.
• Via dell’Abbondanza - The “Casti Amanti” insula 12 comprises several homes and a bakery. It is named after a triclinium decorated with paintings of three banquets set in different seasons, including a summer scene with a tender kiss between two lovers. In the stable next to the bakery, the skeletons of mules used to turn the millstones and transport grain for bread-making were discovered.

The journey begins at the historic Roman gate, Porta Marina Superiore. After an engaging introduction to the history of Pompeii and the catastrophic eruption of Mt. Vesuvius, the guide will lead the group through the Roman Forum. Here, participants will explore the enchanting Forum Bath House, which has recently reopened following extensive maintenance. The tour continues to the renowned “Regio V.”

Next, the group will visit the House of the Silver Weddings, offering a glimpse into the life of a Pompeian aristocrat. As the tour proceeds along Via Stabiana, participants will admire the facade of the House of “Caecilius Iucundus.”

The tour concludes at the hidden treasure of this visit: the “Insula of Casti Amanti,” an active archaeological site where restorers are diligently working. Participants will have the opportunity to uncover 2,000 years of history, though photos and videos are prohibited in this final section for security reasons.
