Before every tour, a liability statement is signed by all drivers.
-It is required a safety deposit of 500.00 euros per vehicle in credit card (we will cancel the deposit until 72hours after). Vehicles have a third part insurance, the client is responsible for all damages.

Beautiful trip and unforgettable experience - The views were amazing, and the guides very friendly, we did a wonderful tour with buggies and motorcycles working very well ... Spectacular!!!

Amazing off road tour! - We were a group of 10 people and we did the half day off road tour and it's being amazing. The cars are super fun to drive and the trail is easy but thrilling. All the personnel at ANC it's incredibly kind and professional. The booking has being super easy and Felipe ,the guide that escorted us, made the experience unforgivable! Highly recommended!

Off-Road?? - Buggy Tour Experience – Room for Improvement
Today, we went on a buggy tour with the family. The guides were friendly and clearly doing their best, which we appreciated. However, for those expecting a true off-road adventure, the experience may be disappointing.
We drove approximately 4 to 5 kilometers off-road, but this was a single route to and from the volcano lake—meaning only about 2.5 kilometers of unique off-road driving. In totall the off-road driving is around 10 minutes of the whole trip.
Also the actual driving time was also quite limited. Although we were asked to arrive at 13:15, the tour didn’t start until around 14:00. Additionally, we had at least three stops of about 10 minutes each, which further reduced the time spent driving.
Our group was combined with a quad tour, resulting in a convoy of around 20 vehicles. This made the pace slow and involved frequent stops, which disrupted the overall flow of the tour.
Our suggestion to ANC: Either update the name and promotional images on your website to better reflect the actual experience, or include more off-road tracks in the tour. At €80 per person (we paid €320 for our group), expectations for an off-road adventure are completely different. Clearer communication would help ensure customers know what to expect.
We also shared our feedback with the guides, who were receptive and agreed with many of our points. We encourage ANC management to not only listen to customer feedback but also consider the valuable insights from your team on the ground.

Unprofessional and not reliable - This business is completely unprofessional and unreliable. We booked a tour on Get Our Guide two days prior to the trip. We recieved confirmation from Get Our Guide. When we arrived on the morning of the tour the staff told us that ANC Azores Holidays cancelled our excursion-no explanation. They said they notified Get Our Guide but when I spoke to Get Our Guide they said they received no communication from the company. The said they couldn’t rebook us on another excursion today or tomorrow. They never attempted to communicate with us. And basically said we don’t know what to tell you. Completely unprofessional. Refused to refund us and told us to deal with Get Our Guide. Not helpful in trying to resolve the issue. Unfortunately they caused us to lose a day in country.

Avoid ANC and use FUTURISMO instead, 3 months + and still waiting for the refund I was promised. - If they offer you a refund for bad weather don’t believe them!!!! We booked various trips through this company and great to deal with all the time they’re taking your money but one trip was cancelled due to bad weather (which is a common occurrence in the Azores) and we were promised a refund to my card. Here I am over 3 months later still trying to get my money back. What could of been easily done is now a dispute between them and my credit card company. We go to the Azores most years (going back in May) but will not use this company again which is very narrow sighted from their side as I have spent a lot of money over the years. Literally 5 minutes away at the harbour is another company “FUTURISMO” which offer very similar tours at very similar prices but have never caused me any problems, the reason we didn’t use them was they were very busy and fully booked on a lot of tours which now makes sense. I hate putting bad reviews but sometimes companies need it when they have a terrible level of customer service like this. I have no doubt I will win the dispute as I have emails from ANC offering me the refund, just a shame it’s taking this much effort to get it.
