Overview of the Azores - We really enjoyed our tour! Paulo was very accommodating and made sure we had a great experience. He went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed ourselves . Paulo was very knowledgeable about the history of the island and kept us engaged the entire time. He showed us the best views of the Azores and we had lunch at a local cafe that was amazing!! I would highly recommend this tour.

Thorough and fun tour - We had such a great day!
Our tour guide, Eduardo, was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. He safely got us around the island and everyone in our tour group had a terrific time.

Great tour - We had a terrific time and recommend this tour highly.There is a good amount of walking, climbing and dealing with stairs, sometimes without a handrail available so being in decent shape is important. Eduardo was excellent, knowledgeable, thoughtful and an excellent driver. I think taking a four is a great choice given how congested some of the sites were, the challenges of backing out of a parking space on a curved road and how isolated some of the sites were.

Fantastic Tour of São Miguel’s West Side with an Amazing Guide - We had a wonderful time exploring the west side of São Miguel Island with our guide, Filipe. He was incredibly kind, professional, and knowledgeable. Filipe shared fascinating insights about the island’s volcanic origins and geological history, making the tour both informative and engaging. His passion for the island really came through, and we truly enjoyed our time with him. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to experience the natural beauty of São Miguel with a great guide!

Wonderful morning in perfect weather. - It was wonderful-exciting to go fast in a Kodiak, with a small group of 10 birders, and especially to be led by knowledgeable and experienced guide Alejandria, and good drivers. And the many dolphins were an unexpected treat! Obrigada!

My experience was wonderful!!! - One of the best excursions I've had so far. We had Bruno as our guide, explained everything about every place we passed.

Wonderful, Comprehensive and Beautiful Tour - The tour was comprehensive and amazing! Our guide, Luisa, knew all the best places and most extraordinary viewpoints on the island. She was patient, knowledgeable, and very attentive. We got to see the highest spots and hidden gems around Sao Miguel. Would definitely recommend going on this fun journey for a day.

Good views but no need for the uphill walking. - This tour itinerary has changed although it does not say that on the website or in the initial booking information. There is significant walking uphill now with the addition of the waterfall stop and the relaxing hot springs are no longer visited. With good weather the views of the lakes at Sete Cidades are breathtaking but there are crowds of people everywhere. Buffet lunch was varied and interesting but again very crowded.
