• Ermida de Nossa Senhora da Paz - Overlooking the charming village of Vila Franca do Campo, this sanctuary is a beautiful temple of the Azores Archipelago. The current temple, dating from the 18th century, was built over an older one from the 16th century. It is said to have provided protection during pirate attacks, making it a place of great faith and beauty. The sanctuary also offers one of the best viewpoints of the village and its surroundings.
