This was one of the most... - This was one of the most fun things we did in Azores. It was a great way to see a lot of the area. It was nice to get off a few times for photos and to rest a bit. I particularly loved the final stop down by the ocean. 10/10. Book it - you won’t regret it.

Best way to see the caldera. - Driving ATV’s we left the town and climbed the ancient volcano. Stopping to see an impressive aqueduct. We toured around the rim of the caldera experiencing fantastic views. Unlike 4-wheel truck tours, we experience nature the whole time, not just when the the truck stopped. The guide was experienced, friendly and knowledgeable.

Best excursion ever! - We did this ride despite the weather not being optimal, but it worth it 100%!! ATV's were nice and comfortable, trails and roads were just right for an adventure. Our guide was kind, patient and knowledgeable. Cannot stress enough as others have, dress appropriately, bring gloves, dress warm, bring a gator to wear and just have so much fun!!

Our quad tour around the... - Our quad tour around the island was a really fun and scenic experience, but there are a few things worth knowing ahead of time. First, transportation—getting there with a Bolt (like Uber) was easy, but getting back was a challenge. It took about 45 minutes to find a ride and another 25 minutes for it to arrive, so plan ahead if you’re not driving. Second, be prepared for the island’s microclimates. The weather changed constantly—cold and rainy in some areas, sunny in others. I was glad I brought a jacket, but I definitely wish I had gloves. My husband didn’t bring a jacket and was freezing. Lastly, while you’re on a quad, this is not a fast-paced, off-road adventure. It’s a guided group tour, so the pace is slower and more focused on enjoying the scenery than speed. Overall, it’s a great way to see the island and take in the views—just come prepared and with the right expectations!
