Amazing food tours! - We did two food tours with Fred from Hungry Whales - the morning one and the evening food & wine tour. Both were so good. It was very interesting to learn about the food and wine, as well as the history of the Azores. Highly recommend!

Fun, Tasty, & Informative Food Tour - Absolutely amazing experience! This tour was just the right length of time! We sampled 10 food items along with a little history lesson of the food & the Azores. Our host Nahjah (spelling) & partner I-shy-yah were fun, organized, & super informative. I highly recommend this fabulous adventure!

Highly recommend this food tour - We really enjoyed the Ponta Delgada food tour. Nadja was an excellent guide, and we appreciated the way the tour was organized, with a second team member going to each stop ahead of the tour so that we didn't have to wait. The visits to the market (in its temporary parking garage location) and food shops were great, the restaurants a bit less so, but this was a great way to learn about Azorean cuisine in a few fun hours. Highly recommend

Good food and good tour - Lots of food, very informative. Also very accommodating if you don’t like any food or can’t eat certain things. Not a ton of walking but good information about the city

Food and walk tour - The tour was lovely. I appreciated the background on the Azores and a little history. It’s always curious what our guides impressions are of present day culture too. The tour included several food stops and each place was well organized to receive our group. I wish we could have tried more foods from the Mercado. I guess because it’s in a temporary location(parking garage) it seemed less interesting. Two samples of fruit and honey didn't seem worthy of a visit. Overall we enjoyed our tour! Give it a try!
