Thank you. - Thank you Fabio for an excellent tour. I thoroughly enjoyed the day. It was both informative and fun. It was impressive how you adapted the day to suit the crazy weather patterns and produced shortcuts and alternates to cater for potential holdups.

Tons of Fun and Beauty! - Just did the tour with Fabio on 3/14 with 2 couples and had a blast. Fabio was so informative, knowledgeable and fun. He knew some secret spots and timed things so it wasn't chaotic with all the other tours going on so that was awesome. I recommend the tour and shout out to Fabio giving me a fun memorable experience! :)

Book this! - We did the full day West tour and also a sunrise tour. This is the way to go!
For the west tour - we had Fabio. So energetic, fun! He looked at the weather and adjusted a bit, and was perfect! The only area we really had rain or clouds was Fanal forest, which you want that! Waves were stinging Porto Moniz and was chilly so no swimming, but so beautiful! The best part is that it was just fun and relaxed and not a stressful! Like a prefect road trip with friends. Great sites, never rushed. Not an exact checklist to complete, yet saw so many highlights regardless!
For the sunrise tour, the weather was bad! Snowing in the peaks, wind and clouds and rain. We got a message the night before offering to reschedule or refund or go for a plan B. We were up for anything since it was our last day and trails were all closed anyway. So- off we went! We had Jeff and just my husband and I and was a great morning! Making the most of it all and some great viewpoints, coffee and pastries, hidden little water spot. A great time!
If you have a choice, pick these guys! The best. They will adjust with the conditions rather than just short you activities and time

Best day ever ! - I had de best first day on the island, Tiago was the best guide ever, advices, laughs and historical anecdotes all day long ! We were just two on this tour and i felt like i made friends. Spots are great, I did not feel like a tourist, he took the time with us, the day was full. I recommend 100% !

West side trip - knowledgeable & interesting - Great day out with Fabio as our guide as a returning customer of HTR Madeira. Tour of the West side to complete our island journey over recent years. Enjoyed the stops, efficient navigation and insight into the island life. Also enjoyed the time with new friends we met as co-customers of the tour. Thanks again!

Very interesting, informative, individualized, personal small tours - The tour was so informative and tailor-made to the sites which were of more interest to us. We were able to provide feedback to our professional guide Jeff before the tour. He met and by far exceeded our expectations. He personalized the tour with some personal touches about his own background and was interested in learning about us. As seniors he also was considerate to not expose us to experiences that would possibly require too much physical activity. We also had to pleasure of doing other tours with other guides from this company and each one provided an entertaining and different take on what we were seeing; but they are all well versed in the island history and will take you places that other companies are too big to do. These tours are intimate. If you want a mass-produced, impersonal and large groupie, then you might want another company. This one provides a small, personalized and unforgettable experience.

Fabulous West Coast Tour - Absolutely fabulous day out with Hugo on our West Coast tour. We were picked up outside our accommodation (timings were arranged the day before) and off we went on our adventure. It wasn't long before we were driving through stunning scenery, stopping off at various points of interest and also going to some places off the beaten track, that we would never have found ourselves. We had a coffee stop, lunched with the locals watching the surfers and enjoyed a fresh poncha on the way home. Trusting our guide Hugo was the best decision as his choices of where to go were better than some of the places on our list which were quite busy and touristy. Don't hire a car, let Hit The Road take the strain and show you beautiful Madeira.
