Program:
The guests are picked up at their accommodation to join a shared transfer (up to 8 guests per van), in direction to the 2nd famous hike in Madeira - 25 Fontes in Rabaçal (beggining).
The hosts provide hike instructions and map explanation, with schedules. You will have 5 hours to do both paths “25 Fontes” and “Risco”, ending at the cafe - Casa do Rabaçal. The pick up and drop of locations are the same (parking lot).

Efficient and convenient transfer - Convenient and efficient transfer to Rabaçal and back with hotel pick-up. The van was convenient and driver provided good information about the logictics of completing the levada walk. Early enough to miss the crowds. 5 hours to complete the hike. There was plenty of time for both 6 and 6.1 levadas. For fast walkers it is possible to do parts of 6.2 and 6.3 as well.

Great service ! - Many thanks to Do it Madeira for helping us discovering the island! Great drivers/guides Miguel and Christiano! Reliable and punctual for our 3 hikes. Good follow up from the office before and during our stay there.
Try to improve the updates about the paths ( PR) if they're open or not and if they need entrance fees or not.

Early start 25 Fontes - Great trip, Henrique was very knowledgeable, courteous and encouraging and a great driver. So glad we did the early start ( and the minibus back to the car park - well worth the 5€).

PR6 transfer and hike - We had read about the walks and wa something that we wanted to. However we weren't confident enough for the car hire and drive. This was the best way for us and it over delivered. Up front info and list of things we needed. Pick up was bang on time, our drive Henrique was really informative, gave us good invite into the hike. Arrived at the park at sunrise, which was great in itself. We had the early time which was really good, we had the walk to ourselves and another couple. We spent 30 mins at 25 fontes waterfall in complete peace. We passed several people on our way back, it's a slow walk back as we are not yhe fastest up hill. The cafe was a great stop and we sat on the inside balcony with the little birds and the fab views. The road walk to the top is a killer but part of the fun. If you get a chance cross the road and go the other side, the views above the clouds ate fab. Pick up was again spot on time . The drive back allowed us to see more as light.
Don't normally leave reviews but this team helped us have a great adventure. Thank you to everyone, we would really recommend and will use again the next time we are in Maderia.

Great hike - Even though we had some rain whilst walking, it didn’t stop us enjoying the activity. Easy to follow route and there really is no need to have a guided tour. It was nice to be able to walk at our own pace.
There are a lot of steps, which can be abit slippery when wet, so sturdy, waterproof footwear is essential. A bonus of seeing the waterfalls when it has rained, is that they are more spectacular and the levadas were full too.

Wonderful nature trip - Nice and straight forward self guided tour. We were picked up spot on time, Diogo was a good driver and answered our questions patiently. He took us to the starting point at the parking lot and explained the trail. Though the weather wasn't ideal, the trail itself was very beautiful and worth it even in the rain. We didn't go at 6 am even though most of reviews here recommend it, but it wasn't very crowded (I guess partially due to weather and time of year)
Overall, a lovely experience which we will recommend to others.

Beautiful hike, well-arranged tour - This was a great hike with beautiful surroundings. It wasn't too difficult, although there were some stairs and hills to climb here and there. But all in all, an easy hike to do with gorgeous scenery to enjoy.
We also had a fantastic tour driver Adriana who picked us up on time, gave us lots of good information before the hike and then dropped us off smoothly. I also had the opportunity to learn lots of fun and fascinating facts about Madeira from her that made me understand this beautiful island even better, and I really appreciate that.
Definitely doing more tours with doit-madeira when we come back!

Super organized 👍🏻 - The tour was really very well organized and everything worked out fine. You had 5 hours on site and everyone could hike at their own pace, as there are many variations. Our guide was super friendly and gave us lots of helpful instructions and tips.

Never happend. - I hate to leave this review but we bought this under the pretext that we were to be picked up from the hotel. After the booking we were sent a plethera of emails from Tripadvisor, one with a link to where we were to WALK from the hotel to the pick up point. According to the google maps link, the walk was 11 minutes away which just was not possible for us so we never got to go and tripadvisor refused to refund us saying the driver was in the right place we were not. I accept we were not in the right place but we bought the tour ONLY because we were told it was a hotel pick up. TOP ADVISE, when in maderia go directly to the company hosting the experience, they WILL collect you from your hotel lobby. I am sorry if this review affects the host in any way, this is solely terrible managament from tripadvsior.
