Lovely way to spend an hour on the water - We have done this cruise a few times and still learn something new each time. We took our 14 year old grandson this time and he really enjoyed learning more about the harbour. Crew were pleasant and helpful.

Can't wait to return next year - What an experience!!! You are taken onboard The Solent which is a beautiful, well kept boat, past some of the most beautiful of the islands around Poole harbour. The crew on board are absolutely awesome. As you are taken past various Islands and landmarks ,the knowledgable captain keeps you informed and educated on each of the islands' histories and some rather quirky anecdotes which keep one amused. There is a well stocked bar where you can obtain a lovely refreshing bottle of a local ale called "Dorset Knob"....highly recommended by my husband John. You can also get teas, coffees, hot chocolate, snacks and wine etc, all at a reasonable cost. We also did another trip with this company from Poole to Swanage, then up to the heritage railway, where we enjoyed an afternoon on the old steam trains, then a lovely sail back from Swanage to Poole. John would like to thank Steven (hope I have spelled that correctly) for keeping him in supply of the Dorset Knob. We highly recommend Coastal Cruises for your tours via the ocean.

Well worth it. Lovely views, entertaining and informative - Really lovely trip around the harbour. Very informative and entertaining. The crew were excellent and very friendly. The commentary was also amusing. Fantastic views of Brownsea Island and interesting to learn about its history. I’d recommend taking a warm coat as it can get a bit chilly. The bar and on board cafe was a nice touch. Not a particularly long trip but still nice to have a drink.

Excellent cruise - Fantastic cruise around Poole harbour, the islands and back. The crew were friendly and had a great sense of humour. Very informative about the area. The boat was clean, comfortable and had excellent facilities on board. Both hot, cold and alcoholic drinks were available with light snacks. We were lucky to have beautiful sunny weather and a wonderful couple of hours at sea. Excellent value for money and highly recommended.

A great trip from Poole - I was staying in Bournemouth for a few days and decided to have a trip around Poole harbour. I hadn't realised Poole harbour was as large as it was. With many islands you can't see from the harbour. The commentary was very good from the crew. Refreshments if required and a toilet. Plenty of seating below and above to have good views. It's a 70 minute cruise an you do get a full 70 min's. Easily booked from the kiosk on the harbour showing the next trip.

Absolutely recommend! - A lovely informative and relaxing ride. Amazing value for money and the best way to end our weekend away! The captain and crew were kind, helpful and very knowledgeable. Bar and snacks available. We even saw seals!

Trip for my birthday - 18-30 sat 11 thApril 26 day not good 20 little brats running andscreaming ( It would have been nice to hear the commentary) standing on the seats no control from parents

Poole Jurrasic boat ride - Did not go on this excursion because it was not clear about the meeting place. We looked all around Weymouth and finally ask this fisherman. He told us that Poole was about an hour drive from here and would have to take a taxi. We were about 45 minutes away ; so there was no way we could do that. Disappointment but since it was under Weymouth category I thought we were to catch the boat in Weymouth. Assuming is not good.

Very poor - Very poor service. Me and my mom booked 2 tickets and we reached 2 mins before time. Even though we requested a lot they refused us to get in.
