Best bang for your buck - Booked night before so pretty much last minute. woke to find that my meet up was central
bus station at 7:30. did not have international call ability and no way to contact company. After talking with a few local native fellows figured i was in the wrong place. Went to Marina and asked man at counter if he would kindly call the tour number. They had been trying to contact me for a pick up vie email that i couldn’t check till i had WFi. This was at 7:20. At 7:30
the bus arrives. Driver “Rick” gives me a hearty hello and makes me feel very welcome when he could have been put out by the inconvenience. He was very informative of the area and history was his specialty. As to attractions we fit a lot in the time allowed. Lunch was filling and good. As my fellow travelers and I were of a more mature age Rick made sure we had numerous opportunities to have restroom breaks. A lot of choices for tours in the area. People make the difference. Must do tour!! - Must do tour!!! We had an excellent time on the tour. Rick did such a great job making sure everyone was enjoying their time. He provided lots of information on the statistics of the park and history behind it that we appreciated. The Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation are stunning. We saw lots of wildlife from butterflies to crocodiles! The lunch was tasty and the ice cream was so good too. We feel we got a great experience with them. Thank you Rick!

Great trip! - Lisa was really friendly and approachable throughout. She was very knowledgable about the plants, animals, and the area (she had personal experience living here), and we had a fab time on the tour. We had a bus of about 30 people and covered lots within the day. Would recommend!

What an incredible experience - excellent value for money - Had a fabulous, but long day, to visit the Daintree Rainforest, the oldest rainforest in the world - 180million years] old expertly driven and guided by Rick. His knowledge of the area was extensive. We started at the Daintree Rainforest Wildlife Sanctuary, then on to visit the beach at Cape Tribulation before heading into the Rainforest. Along a boardwalk we encountered a male Cassowary just walking beside us. This is a very rare sighting indeed, what an amazing experience. They are the most dangerous birds on the planet and are prehistoric.
We then stopped for a delicious lunch at a cafe en route to Cape Tribulation, a stunning beach where the rainforest meets the ocean.
Our trip ended with a boat trip on the Daintree River [140km long] to look for crocodiles and were lucky enough to see a female basking in the shallow water near the riverbank.
Rick also stopped at viewpoints along the way to ensure we were able to take scenic photographs. He was extremely considerate of his passengers throughout the day. Thank you so much.

A very long day but wow it was great - We didn't know what to expect from this trip. We knew it would be a long day (13 hours in the end). But it was absolutely fantastic. You need to be out that long to see everything we did. Geoff the driver, who was also our guide, spoke throughout the trip about what we could see outside and about the places we visited. His passion shone through and nothing felt contrived. The coach was also comfortable. We visited a wildlife centre at Port Douglas (great to feed the kangaroos, see crocs, Cassowari and friendly parrots). We then went into the Daintree and stopped along the way to see great views. Lunch was really good, better than we expected. Then a quick dip in the water hole which I can definitely recommend. We visited Cape Tribulation beach briefly which was fantastic. The crocodile cruise was also a highlight seeing a baby crocodile and a quick sighting of an adult. Even if you don't see many crocs the boat driver was fun. We then had a boardwalk stroll in the forest. I recommend walking with Geoff again as he showed us so much. It was finished off by ice cream made in the forest. As I said, it was a long day, and there was no time wasting. But we saw so much and I can definitely recommend it

DOM IS A GEM! - Dom is amazing!! His love for Cairns, the land, nature, history, and attractions is contagious. His passion shines through. He is a natural, funny, knowledgeable, thoughtful, and accommodating. I'm so glad we got to experience this gem with Dom as our tour guide. I can't recommend him enough!! My favorite experience was him showing us all the bugs and insects that he knew as we came across them. Such a treat! The peppermint stick insect is my favorite. We had such an enjoyable experience and appreciate all of Dom's long hours driving (sometimes narrow roads), narrating, and touring with ease.
