• Great Barrier Reef - For those who prefer to remain above water, snorkeling in protected lagoons with stunning drop-offs is available. Gain insights into the Great Barrier Reef’s delicate ecosystem during a reef interpretation talk, followed by a guided snorkel tour to observe the reef’s tropical fish and coral up close.

Setting sail from Port Douglas, Poseidon is a 24-meter catamaran that offers an exhilarating boutique adventure, ideal for small groups of seasoned divers and confident snorkelers. With access to exclusive, remote reef locations, expert marine interpretation, and citizen science opportunities, guest numbers are limited to 65. Poseidon explores three distinct sites in one day at the breathtaking Agincourt ribbon reefs. Certified divers can enjoy up to three dives, and introductory diving is also available. With marine biologist interpretation at each site, snorkelers can participate in a monitoring survey. Poseidon holds a special permit that allows guests to swim with dwarf minke whales if they are encountered.
