Great little animal park - Read signs carefully for directors. Also check ahead for animal feeding times. Enjoyed seeing all the Australian animals especially the birds. It's hot in Port Douglas so dress appropriately. There is a simple cafe where you can rest and buy drinks and snacks. No aircon but lots of fans.

Family Friendly - Wow, we loved it! Staff were so knowledgeable and happy to share info, walking thru the exhibits at your leisure was so cool. Also the birds in the cafe just relaxed on their perches never seen an owl so close. We are going back today!

Brilliant Wildlife Centre - You should definitely not miss visiting this wildlife centre. They have everything from beautifully coloured birds to kangaroos, snakes and crocodiles. All of the birds and most of the animals roam freely. They did a crocodile feeding talk which was great, and reptile talk where you can touch some of them. This is the best wildlife centre we have visited.

A very enjoyable experience at the Port Douglas Wildlife Habitat! - The Port Douglas Wildlife Habitat was far more than we expected and a welcome surprise! Parrots landed on our shoulders; we were able to handfeed kangaroos and geese; and the selection of Australian animals to observe was much appreciated! The Predator Crocodile walkway, however, was under repair. Bummer! Other crocs were available for viewing. A very enjoyable experience and well worth the admission price. Ps. The ticket is good for 24 hours and we were able to leverage this due to a change in our schedule.

A worthwhile activity - This was the second time we have visited the wildlife habitat and enjoyed it just as much the second time. The opportunity to get up close to the wildlife makes the visit amazing and the presentations are very informative. This is a must do activity for overseas and Australian visitors. The only presentation we felt needed improvement was the crocodile activity. A man swimming behind glass beside the crocodiles was weird and we assumed this was the swimming with the crocodiles activity. The lizard display was good and could have been separated from the crocodiles and joined with the other reptiles keeping the crocodiles separate. However this aside the wildlife habitat is definitely worth going to and it was a treat that they offered good coffee and a free return pass.

Absolutely Fabulous Day - Although small and we had mobility issues they were very accommodating. Lunch was make your own burger bun and drink as included in the tour. It was very nice I enjoyed it. As for the koalas so sweet but tired. Also saw kangaroos and a myriad of birds. Great souvenir shop also.

SO WORTH THE TIME.... MUST GO - We had a private tour with Callie. She was amazing. She seemed to know EVERYTHING about so many different animals. She knew them by name! The whole facility is beautiful and you can tell the animals are well cared for. We also had lunch (and a bird named Elvis...I think was his name) came to eat some of our lunch.. I hope you go and have a tour!

A beautiful wildlife habitat - Our second visit to Wildlife Habitat and Breakfast with the Birds. Primarily, this is a well cared for home for the birds and animals and the staff are exceptional, VERY friendly and knowledgeable. It is obvious that Habitat staff truly care for their charges and share much love with them. The Habitat areas are all very clean and well maintained. All birds and animals are well fed and care has been taken to allow them to exist in a natural environment. A must-see for Port Douglas visitors.
