Getting in touch with your inner explorer - Absolutely incredible tour with an amazing man as our guide! Really felt like we connected to the history and nature there as well as having been able to learn some really interesting facts , highly recommend!

Eel Be Alright! - Staying in Macarthur, the closest town to both Budj Bim the mountain and the Tae Rak cultural centre, we had an excellent two days. The first saw us taking the crater walk around the mountain inckuding its sacred summit. The second involved an excellent tour of the 6000+ year-old eel-traps built and maintained by the Gunditjmarra people. Our guide was full of historical and cultural information. And the eel lunch was yummy.

Mike went above and beyond - Mike was really engaging and thoughtful and did such a great job of sparking curiosity in our 5 year old who had a blast. Highly recommend.

Wonderful tour - Was a wonderful, insightful and interesting tour. We learnt a lot about the area and it’s history. Mike was a fantastic tour guide, he is a very knowledgeable geologist and a fantastic bloke! A must when visiting Port Fairy, easy to set up through the visitors centre.

Great Tour - My daughter loved doing the walks and having everything being explained rather than being shown photos. I really enjoyed seeing the lava stream caves and seeing how the lava did flow, very interesting tour. Lovely guide and he knew heaps of information to explain how volcanos work

Interesting Volcanic Area - There was little advance information about Mount Eccles but it turned out to be an interesting and very different old volcanic area.There were good facilities and a walking track around the crater lake. Easy to find between Portland and Hamilton..
