- Batu Caves - Batu Caves is a renowned and popular tourist destination in Selangor. Home to a Hindu temple and shrine, it draws thousands of worshippers and tourists. Situated just north of Kuala Lumpur, this limestone outcrop features three main caves with temples and Hindu shrines. Its main highlight is the large statue of a Hindu deity at the entrance, along with a steep 272-step climb to enjoy the breathtaking view of the city skyline. Monkeys play around the caves, and it is a favored spot for rock climbing enthusiasts. The site also showcases paintings and scenes of Hindu gods.
- Petronas Twin Towers - Standing at 451.9 meters, the magnificent Petronas Twin Towers is a globally recognized symbol of modern Malaysia. It is the centerpiece of the Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC) development, which includes landmarks such as the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Suria KLCC shopping mall, star-rated hotels, a mosque, and the beautifully landscaped KLCC Park. - East Coast Batik Sdn Bhd (Batik CHONG) - East Coast Batik (914804-X), formerly known as Syarikat East Coast, established in 1974, is one of the oldest batik and handicrafts centers in Klang Valley. Syarikat East Coast is the place to visit for a comprehensive experience in Malaysian batik and handicrafts.
- Istana Negara - Istana Negara, or the National Palace, is the official residence of the King of Malaysia. This majestic building, located at Jalan Duta, officially became the National Palace in November 2011, replacing the old palace at Jalan Istana. It features 22 domes, with the largest dome reaching a height of 40 meters. Note: Visits are limited to the exterior.
- Perdana Botanical Garden - Perdana Botanical Gardens, formerly known as Perdana Lake Gardens, Lake Gardens, and Public Gardens, is Kuala Lumpur’s first large-scale recreational park. Spanning 91.6 hectares, it is located in the heart of the city and was established in 1888.
- National Monument - The National Monument was built to honor those who sacrificed their lives for peace and freedom, particularly during the nation’s struggle against communism. Within the National Monument grounds stands one of the world’s largest free-standing bronze sculptures. It was sculpted in 1966 by Felix de Weldon, who also created the famous Iwo Jima Monument in Washington DC.
- Malaysian Houses of Parliament - The Malaysian Houses of Parliament is a building complex where the Malaysian Parliament convenes. The structure is located at the Lake Gardens in Kuala Lumpur, near the Malaysian National Monument.
- Merdeka Square - Merdeka Square is situated directly opposite the Sultan Abdul Samad Building and adjacent to the Royal Selangor Club. This historic site is where the Union Flag was lowered, and the Malayan flag was raised for the first time at midnight on August 31, 1957. Since then, Merdeka Square has been the venue for the annual Merdeka Parade.
- National Textile Museum - The National Textiles Museum houses a unique collection of clothing, accessories, and textiles. The museum features four main galleries: Pohon Budi Gallery, Pelangi Gallery, Teluk Berantai Gallery, and the Ratna Sari Gallery.
- Sultan Abdul Samad Building - The iconic Sultan Abdul Samad Building is located in front of Dataran Merdeka. This historical building houses the Supreme and High Courts. With its unique Moorish designs and clock tower, it is widely photographed by visitors to the city center.
- Music Museum - The Music Museum Kuala Lumpur opened on August 1, 2015, in an old colonial-era building on Jalan Raja facing Dataran Merdeka in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. This elegant building was constructed in 1919 as the KL branch of Chartered Bank.
- National Mosque (Masjid Negara) - Masjid Negara is one of the most distinguished landmarks in the city. It features a unique star-shaped dome and a 73-meter high minaret. The National Mosque is located on the fringes of the KL Lake Gardens. Visitors are advised to dress appropriately when visiting the mosque, and women are required to wear headscarves.

- The River of Life - The River of Life (ROL) is a seven-year project led by the Government of Malaysia to transform the Klang River into a vibrant and livable waterfront with high economic value. Covering eight rivers with a total length of 110 km, this project is divided into three major components.
- Jamek Mosque - Jamek Mosque, officially Sultan Abdul Samad Jamek Mosque, is one of the oldest mosques in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is located at the confluence of the Klang and Gombak Rivers and can be accessed via Jalan Tun Perak. Designed by Arthur Benison Hubback and built in 1909, Masjid Jamek served as Kuala Lumpur’s main mosque. The mosque features Moorish architecture.
- Central Market Kuala Lumpur - Central Market was originally a wholesale and retail wet market. A great place to find crafts and ornaments, Central Market is one of the city’s prominent heritage buildings. It is a fine example of the 1930s Art Deco style with a stepped entrance design, unifying elements at the windows and doors, as well as wrought iron panels.
