Wonderful driver and boat ride! - Driver Keith was great about getting us there ontime after re-booking and the drive was great! The boat ride started out very hot with the blazing sun but got much better. Lots to see and watching all those birds flood to the one spot was an amazing sight to see at the end!!

Better than expected. The... - Better than expected. The guide was incredibly informative before we got on the boat, which made it easier to know what to look for while exploring the swamp. The tour company was amazing—professional, friendly, and well organized—and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. I will absolutely utilize them again when I come back and would highly recommend them to others.

Wildlife that’s Worth your time! - I’ve been on several swamp tours and I thoroughly enjoyed this one. The swamp was quaint and beautiful and the wildlife was out and visible. Our boat guide was very knowledgeable and had great sight . We saw snakes, blue herons, alligator, ibis, flamingos and catfish. The sun set and it was amazing seeing the birds come home to roost. Our guide was great for the history along the way. during the pickup and drop off.

Second time around was still blown away - This bird watching tour is so serene and peaceful that I had to do it again my second time in Trinidad. The guides have a lot of ecological knowledge and good sense of humor. The way they can spot the wildlife is so amazing. This time we even got to see capybara! Highly recommend for anyone into birds or relaxing boat rides

Beautiful and Peaceful Sunset Tour Through the Caroni Wetlands - I had a great experience on the Sunset Boat Tour into the Caroni Wetlands with Nanan Tours. Hotel pickup and drop-off were included, and the driver was on time and professional, which made the start and end of the tour smooth and stress-free. The real highlight was the guide, who was incredibly knowledgeable and engaging. He shared fascinating facts about the mangrove ecosystem, local wildlife, and especially the scarlet ibis, Trinidad’s national bird. Watching flocks of ibis return to roost at sunset was a truly beautiful and peaceful moment. A few tips: wear sunscreen and bring insect repellent—the bugs come out as the sun goes down, and the sun can still be strong even late in the day. Also, pay attention to where you sit on the boat. You’ll be going through narrow channels lined with mangrove roots, and you’ll likely have to duck multiple times as the branches hang low. Overall, it’s a well-organized, scenic tour that gives you a different side of Trinidad’s natural beauty. I’d definitely recommend it to nature lovers and photographers.

Great tour if you get the right group. - Great tour. Guide found a lot of wildlife that most people would miss. The Ibis at sunset were the stars of the tour. I’m removing one star because the guide made no effort to control the group of teens on the boat who would not STFU.

Waiting for the Ibis! - A lot of waiting, 45 minutes from arrival to setting off. Not much sighting of the scarlet ibis in the first hour of the trip. Visitors should bring refreshments. Glad to have done it, but would not do it again.
