Best cooking class ever!!! - My husband and our friends booked cooking with Carlo for our trip to Palermo and it was 1000% one of the highlights of our vacation! I can’t even describe how beautiful the view and the sunset was while we were cooking outside on his back patio. It felt like we were in a movie! They even played music to perfectly set the scene! Carlo, his mother, and mother in law were so warm and helpful. They fed us the most delicious food and kept our wine glasses full while we worked. The cannolis we made were the best I’ve ever had and I cannot wait to recreate the recipe this year for Christmas with my family! What a perfect day and an amazing experience. I highly recommend cooking with Carlo!

Always Cook with Carlo - - My husband & and I, along with our 2 friends were coming to an end of our 2 week vacation through Italy and Sicily, diid we really need another cooking class???? But I couldn't resist some of the other reviews written by Carlo's guests...and had to experience for myself. Read other reviews for details about what and how we cooked, but I'd like to tell you it was more like spending time with friends sharing stories while making your own pasta, and the best Cannoli's this Italian has ever had. So to answer my own question... Yes, we did need one more cooking class - Carlo's !

Simply the BEST!! - Cooking with Carlo was an AWESOME experience - so warm and friendly, like being invited to a dear friend's home in Sicily. The views from the terrace are spectacular. Learning to make the dough for cannolis and learning to make the pasta was a breeze with such a devoted and engaging teacher. And dining on the end result, with fresh tomatoes from the garden and home-produced olive oil, was a delight. It's been the highlight of our vacation so far. We will have great memories of the experience for years to come!

An awesome experience - This was a beautiful experience Carlo and his wife helped with setting up our transportation from palermo. His home has a beautiful garden that we toured and were educated at the same time. We learned how to make cannoli and pasta … It was a lot of fun and relaxing at the same time. Carlo was a wonderful teacher and host.

Cooking with friends and Carlo - Our afternoon with Carlo was wonderful. First Carlos wife helped get us transportation from our Airbnb which was about 45 minutes away. Carlo greeted us at the front door of his home. We were taken to the patio where we started with an aperitif prior to cooking. We made pasta and cannolis. Carlo was a very patient teacher. The afternoon was filled with learning to make good food, a little wine drinking and stories of the history of Carlo and his garden. Carlo was Avery gracious host and I would highly recommend you go see him if you are near Palermo. 10/10!!!

An unforgettable experience with Carlo! - What an amazing cooking class! Carlo is not only an incredibly skilled chef, but also a fantastic host who made the entire experience fun, engaging, and full of laughter. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like family into his beustiful family home. The food we prepared was absolutely delicious, fresh, authentic, and bursting with flavor. Carlo shared so much insight into the local cuisine and culture, which made the whole experience even richer. Beyond just cooking, it felt like a true cultural exchange, filled with stories, passion, and joy. We left with full stomachs, new skills, and great memories. If you’re considering a cooking class, do not miss this one! Highly, highly recommended! Thank you Carlo for having us! We had the most amazing time and will never forget it! Cannot wait to go home and try the cooking at home!

A Magical Sunset Cooking Class!! - Our evening with Carlo was absolutely fabulous in every way!! The setting overlooking the sea and the mountains was breathtaking and Carlo’s garden filled with olive trees, citrus, vegetables, and herbs was magical!! We laughed and learned and dined al fresco at a wonderful rustic table in the shadow of the mountains. Carlo was incredibly patient and good natured as our family of six asked questions and talked constantly. We learned to make homemade pasta and cannoli, we drank wine, and ate like kings!! Carlo is a brilliant chef who has worked all over the world in Michelin restaurants but decided to come home to Palermo to create his own unique business. Carlo works with his family and our evening experience was assisted by his lovely mother in law, Maria. She was so helpful and personable. Carlo is incredibly creative and has bold ideas for providing wonderful experiences in creative ways. We cannot wait to go back to experience his other culinary adventures.
