I wouldn’t repeat, honestly, especially if you’re tight on time - You have to decide if it’s worth to you or not. Basically, the tour is just a van ride to an hotel, Portillo, where you can have a drink or a light meal, and the Inca Lagoon in front of it. The lagoon is beautiful, but the surroundings are not spectacular. There is some construction work going on and construction materials visible that make the experience a little less “natural” and “clean”. You will make a stop midway to have breakfast, so you’ll feel you’re always eating during this tour. You will come back to the same café where you stop in the morning for a picnic later on (I couldn’t eat anything, I was still full) and see some lamas, horses and a donkey (and cats and dogs). They’re on a playground, so it feels a little childish. All that for 5 hours inside the van (2,5h each way). Knowing this, I probably wouldn’t repeat the experience. Also, I believe the lagoon may be more beautiful during winter time with snow. In the summer, less so. The guide, Angel, was nice, but there wasn’t much to explain or do during the excursion. He mostly drives all the time and puts some music that I actually found annoying during the ride.
