The Notorious Portland Walking Tour was the 3rd tour I took with Dugan, the first two being the Portland Black History tour and the Hidden Histories tour. It was impressive that every one of his tours has its own theme and unique stories. It is clear that Dugan is a skilled historian and a fantastic storyteller. If you are visiting Portland or live here, if you want to know the real history of Portland without any sugarcoating, I recommend taking a tour with Dugan!

Unprofessional approach by Dugan the guide/owner. Not respectful to questions (made jokes), was very negative about the people at Victoria Mansion (inaccurate, unresearched, personal experience rather than professional) and the stories/stops we made were not that compelling. I really wanted to enjoy the tour, but was very disappointed, especially since it was expensive. I will not be recommending this to anyone, and will share my thoughts with MHS who seems to be supporting these tours. Too bad. Walking tours are such a great experience when done well.
