Great Day in Portland - Ray was outstanding! He went out of his way to find the best culinary spots to share with us and enlighten us with Portland history along the way. The food and drinks were simply yum and he made sure we had a pleasant day. We would definitely recommend this tour!

Delicious Venture Around Old Port - We had a blast eating some traditional Maine cuisines while exploring the Old Port area and learning some of its history! Definitely a great way to try a bunch of dishes from some of the local's favorite spots!

Great way to learn the city!! - This was the perfect way to spend our first day in Portland. Our guide Timothy was fantastic! The food was delicious and the local drinks were a good sampling, but Timothy’s knowledge of Portland history and love for his city is really what shone through. It was a perfect combination of food and education!

A great way to get to know Portland - This was a great way to get to know Portland Maine. We met some nice people, our guide was knowledgeable and informative. The food was excellent and a nice variety. Doing the 10:30am seems early but it gave us a great start and time to do other things in the afternoon. We also knew where we wanted to return for dinner!

So much food for a tour! Thoroughly enjoyed! - My mom and I went on the tour with Timothy as our guide. He is also a local artist with several of his pieces on display along the tour. We enjoyed beer and fish tacos, clam chowder, lobster rolls with prosecco, and truffles for dessert. All were full sized and we were stuffed by the end. In between each stop, Timothy gave us a ton of interesting information about Portland and tales about his life in Maine. He was very personable and charismatic.
Word to the wise, do not eat before the tour! Also wear shoes that work on the cobblestone streets of Portland.

Arrive hungry! - We love a food tour as an introduction to a new town, and this one certainly lived up to expectations! Ray, our guide, was very knowledgeable about the town and the food scene and very enthusiastic about choosing locally sourced foods and locally owned businesses. Every place we went was definitely worthy of a return visit. Great atmosphere and amazing food! The lobster roll was the best I ever had!!! And all of the portions were generous. Arrive hungry!

Great foodie tour - Started with a fish taco, really enjoyed the pickled red cabbage on it but corn tortilla tasted stale and cold, chowder stop was awesome with seceral choices. I got the seafood chili which was so filling I couldn’t finish half of it! Lobster roll was the highlight. Super tender lobster. Truffles and ice cream rounded out the tour. I would highly recommend tour guides check with guests before taking them down a very long cobblestone street, as my knee hurt for several days. There was a way to get to the restaurant on mostly flat walkways.

It was fine - It was pretty good. I learned some stuff that I didn't know before, so that was nice. Our tour guide kept pushing his art and explicitly asking for tips, though, so that got a little bothersome. He literally gave us a card with "recommended" tip amounts (which were about $26 per person, btw) at one point. That was a first for me.
