Great way to spend a day and get a workout. - I'd probably give this a 4.5 if I could do halves, but overall I had a great time. This is definitely a fun day trip. Scotland was our driver and guide. He was entertaining, had a good sense of humor, and was very knowledgeable of the areas we explored. He had his young kids with him throughout the day, which wasn't a problem, just unexpected -- they were well behaved. My .5 deduction is partly due to the merging of different tours into the same group. Only 2 of us (myself included) were biking while the others must've booked something else that was hiking only. We didn't realize until we were getting fitted for our bikes. It wasn't a big deal except that this meant Scotland (our guide) wasn't riding along with us (the bikers). All that aside the sites are amazing. The ride was a blast, mostly downhill, but there are some uphill stretches that require some work (nothing crazy). The hiking was great too. Very beautiful views in all directions and at all stops. Just expect to need a nap afterwards. ;)

Amazing Columbia River Gorge Bike and Hike tour - The views were amazing, and this was the perfect active tour for families. We started at a beautiful lookout point and biked mostly downhill, stopping at 5 different waterfalls which we had the chance to hike around. Multomah falls was our last stop and was breathtaking! Our guide’s name was Carrie and she was great! She explained the history of the area and informed us about the variety of plants and wildlife we saw along the way. Highly recommend!!
