If you are seeking a seamless experience in the valley, this is it. - Excellent trip. Careful, knowledgeable guide. The tour vendor, contours clearly know what they are doing.

Wonder, Amazing, Unforgettable - Almost at a loss for words at how good, amazing, and wonderful this tour was. Fillipe was our guide and driver. Wow- he was the best guide I've ever had for a trip of any kind. The sights were amazing, but the visits to the vineyards and wineries were unforgettable. Small family farms and wonderful hosts who shared so much about their love for their craft and let us sample some amazing wines/ports.

Amazing experience - take this tour!! - The best tour of our lives!!! We absolutely loved our experience. We booked this tour and got exactly what we hoped for which was an intimate group, with a super warm guide - Andreia whi was funny knowledgeable and made the experience even better. This tour took us to wineries that were less commercial and we even got to meet the owners and stomp grapes! It was such a pleasure and would recommend you take this tour over any of these other companies who will take you to large wineries with boat loads of tourists and making it feel like a conveyor belt. Also the van was super comfortable plenty of room and our guide always had the AC ready to go before we got in. 10/10 would do it again and again

Our guide Miguel was very... - Our guide Miguel was very knowledgeable and informative, whilst keeping things fun rather than a lecture tour. Great company on the tour with our other 3 guests, enjoying some excellent wines and fantastic views along the way. All together, a very enjoyable day.

A Well Worth Trip To Take - This tour is a must do experience, to sample the exquisite ports and wines in the Douro valley, as well as see the beautiful landscape. The guides are fun, knowledgeable and provide great bits of information that make the tours so enjoyable. The Quintas visited are superb, the meal is fabulous (vegetarian catered for exceptionally) and the boat trip is an excellent opportunity to get to know the others on your van. All in all a great day out! Thank you Andriea and Jose!

Douro Three Winery Tour - Book Now, Simply Amazing! - Cooltour Oporto exceeded our expectations for the Douro Wine Tasting Tour. We love wine and supporting small producers so when we were looking for a tour most of the other tours seemed very generic and were going to the same places. While we wanted to taste port we really wanted to try some other wines too and this tour did that. We went to 3 different small wineries and received amazing history and tastings. The first one had cats, history and excellent white, red and one port wine. Our excellent guide Rodrigo then whisked us off to the next winery driving through breathtaking scenery. He made stops at amazing viewpoints and gave us some more background about the Douro Valley. Our 2nd winery had a gorgeous tasting room that they recently completed with spectacular visuals of the history of their family and wine making. The wine tasting was beautifully set up and we enjoyed hearing about each wine. The final stop was up high with the most stunning views of the valley where we enjoyed a homemade lunch with way too much food, wine and a dessert (a heavenly creme brulée). Rodrigo then took us around the property to explain how port is made there. After the tour we sampled 4 different ports including a rose one which I didn’t even realize was possible for a port and even a vintage 2014 one. The staff at every winery was so lovely and welcoming it made the day so special. While you are not doing the river cruise here, honestly didn’t feel like we needed that at all. Hearing the history and tasting the love that goes into these wines was just absolutely unforgettable. Thank you Cooltour & Rodrigo, we will never forget this adventure and definitely made us want to come back in the future.

Douro Tour - We had a wonderful day and learned a lot about port wine and then got to taste some. The drive there was very pleasant as we got out of the city and saw different scenery. It was very interesting to see the vineyards and learn of their history. We also met some owners and heard stories directly from them. We ate authentic Portugal tapas and had lunch. Our tour guide was cheery and enthusiastic and even gave us some additional information about other places in Porto that we might want to do. I would highly recommend this tour if you want to get out of Porto and enjoy a very relaxing day.
