The journey is conducted in complete comfort aboard a minibus, consistently accompanied by a knowledgeable guide who will provide fascinating facts and insights about the region throughout the day.

The departure is scheduled for 08:00 AM from the meeting point at Calçada da Vandoma, heading towards the Douro Valley through landscapes characterized by terraced vineyards and the meandering Douro River.

The first experience of the day includes a visit to Quinta de S. Luiz (or a similar estate), a historic wine estate associated with Douro wine production. Here, participants will have the chance to learn about the estate’s history, the region’s winemaking traditions, and production techniques.

Following this, there will be a boat trip on the Douro River, where participants can relax while taking in the unique scenery from the water, surrounded by vineyards and traditional wine estates.

On the return journey, there will be a stop at the São Cristóvão do Douro Viewpoint, where participants can enjoy panoramic views over the valley and capture photos of this iconic landscape.
