An Excellent Introduction. - I was part of a small group of six on the Blue Dragon walking tour, which covered most of the essential sights and several others in central Porto. Our guide Christina was excellent; plenty of information (but not too much) and very entertaining. She also provided many tips for the remainder of the holiday - far better than relying on a guidebook. Highly recommended.

From medieval stones to yellow pastries. Ana’s Porto. - Three hours with Ana felt like getting Porto’s life story from your most interesting friend. I’ve done my fair share of city tours, and usually by hour two I’m mentally composing my grocery list. Not this time. Ana has this rare knack for making centuries-old stones feel like breaking news. She answers every random question you throw at her—and trust me, I threw some proper curveballs. Why are Portuguese pastries so aggressively yellow? (Spoiler: bored nuns in perfectly starched clothes have something to do with it) What are those peculiar markings scattered across the pavement? Ana knew. She always knew. No theatrical gesturing or forced enthusiasm—just genuine passion wrapped in joyful humour. The sort of guide who makes you think “Right, I need to live here now” rather than “Thank goodness that’s over.” Thank you Ana.

Wonderful introduction to Porto! - Our guide Igor was just superb. He has tremendous knowledge and a very friendly demeanor. He gave us choices during the tour to tailor it slightly to our wishes. The coffee stop was most welcome to chat some with the other group members as well as to have some refreshment and a handy bathroom.
