Girls trip to Portugal - We cannot say enough good things about this tour. It was the highlight of our trip to Portugal. Our tour guide Vasco was utterly amazing. He was so knowledgeable about the area. He showed us beautiful places and told us the history and stories behind them. He put a personal touch on every place we visited. We felt like we were traveling with a close friend or relative. With him we felt like we were seeing Portugal like a local. Not just the tourist spots. He took us to a small local restaurant where we ate a wonderful meal that we could never eat anywhere else.
The places we visited were beautiful but the day was exponentially better with Vasco as our guide.

Porto to Lisbon with Vasco - The trip was spectacular. We stopped in Fatima and Nazare. Vasco, our guide, was the best. He was friendly and informative.

A great drive and adventure - Thank you Wonders Tours, what a great trip from Porto to Lisbon - with some great stops, especially Nazare for our New Zealand surfing culture family.
Mario was just awesome, really personable, friendly, interesting and a great English speaker. Delivered us safely to our Lisbon accommodation and all in all, a great day. Thanks Mario.

Excellent sightseeing drive with a great driver! - We had a wonderful drive with Mario from Porto to Lisbon, with stops in Aveiro, Coímbra and Óbidos. It was a great experience for our 83 year old father, who wanted to see these sights but needed to stop frequently. Mario had thoughtful suggestions to make everything as comfortable as possible for our father. He was kind and patient, and adapted quickly when we had to shorten our time in a city, or go to a rest stop. His car was very comfortable and perfectly clean. We would happily book again. Thank you Mario!

Don’t Tour Portugal Without Him! - Vasco was an exceptional guide — knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely fun to be around. Our group was multi-generational, ranging from age 5 to 75, and he effortlessly connected with every single one of us. He answered countless questions with patience and enthusiasm, weaved in jokes that had us all laughing, and brought Portugal to life in a way that went far beyond the typical tour experience. We left with a much deeper appreciation and understanding of the country. Highly recommend!

Private transfer from Porto to Lisbon - We had a wonderful experience on our private transfer from Porto to Lisbon. Our driver Mario was on time, very professional and knowledgeable. We made stops at Coimbra, Fatima, and Tomar. Very enjoyable and memorable trip. Portugal is a beautiful country. People in general are helpful and kind! Definitely recommended!

Awesome experience - Our driver Vasco was wonderful and we had a great time! The restaurants he recommended were great and he was very knowledgeable about the two cities we visited, Aveiro and Nazare.
We will definitely book and request Vasco when we return to Portugal!

Amazingly smooth and comfortable experience - We booked a Porto to Lisbon one way transfer with 3 stops during our visit to Portugal in March 2026 and it was perfection from the time of booking to the drop off at the destination. We were concerned about the impact of the damaging storms on our plans to do some sightseeing enroute by car from Porto to Lisbon and reached out to Wonder Tours to inquire. Patricia promptly responded back saying the affected areas had been cleared and that we would have no problems. She also provided relevant information about the optional halts so we could finalize the itinerary. With clear communication, we knew what to expect. We were notified that Phillipe would be driving us from Porto to Lisbon. Phillips arrived a bit earlier than the appointed time and made sure that we would not be rushed. The car was a comfortable Mercedes with enough room for us and our luggage. Once we were on the road, Phillipe acquainted us with the highlights of our selected stops. He also provided great commentary on the history and context of things that we would see. We were allowed plenty of time to explore at each of the stops and Phillipe even recommended a seafood restaurant for lunch at Nazare. After a comfortable lunch and walk on the beach at Nazare , Phillipe took us to get a view from the top of the cliffs at Nazare. It was a very pleasant and comfortable way to travel and get some sightseeing done while also learning quite a few things about Portugal. After the 3rd stop we had a wonderful drive to our destination hotel in Lisbon arriving at around 5:30 pm. Really enjoyed the experience

Our guide, Luis became our friend. I can’t recommend this company or guide any more highly. Exceptional experience - Great way to sightsee traveling from city to city. Personal tour guide experience. Our Guide was timely, knowledgeable and our car was comfortable.

Wonderful and flexible drive with Mario! - We had a fantastic time with Mario! He was a great driver and shared many valuable tips and insights about Portugal, past and present. When our planned second stop didn’t work (no power in Tomar due to recent storms), he was very flexible as we quickly changed plans. I’d highly recommend this group if you’re considering driving between Porto and Lisbon (or vice versa). Thank you Mario!
