- Óbidos - Leaving Lisbon behind, a rocky hill crowned with a castle suddenly appears on the horizon - this is Óbidos. A place rich in history and heritage, beauty, and authenticity, with a past that predates the Kingdom of Portugal. Interestingly, it was often given as a dowry to queens of Portugal.

Óbidos Village - The medieval castle, dating back to the 12th century, is one of the town’s main attractions. Also from the 12th century, the church of Santa Maria, located in the main square, showcases stunning Manueline and Gothic architecture. Inside, admire the intricate decorations and historic artworks.
The entire medieval town is encircled by well-preserved walls, offering excellent views of the surrounding countryside. Enjoy a pleasant walk along the ramparts and take in the scenery.
