Joel is a wonderful Tour Guide! - Joel was a wonderful tour guide. We had 5pp on the tour and he customized it to what we wanted to see. He gave us time at the Sunday markets for shopping. His English was fantastic. Highly recommend!

Excellent tour and guide - We booked this private full-day tour of Lisbon through Viator and had the absolute pleasure of spending 8 unforgettable hours with our guide Joel From the moment he picked us up in a brand new electric Mercedes Benz SUV we knew we were in good hands. The vehicle was incredibly comfortable and quiet and my family truly enjoyed riding through the city in style. It set the tone for a smooth relaxed and well-organized day Joel is a born-and-raised local with a deep love for Lisbon and that passion came through in every part of the tour. He shared so much history and local insight but in a way that never felt rehearsed or overwhelming. It was like exploring the city with a friend who knew all the best stories and secret spots Because this was a private tour everything was tailored to us. Joel adjusted the pace to accommodate our family’s needs and interests and made sure we had a good balance of sightseeing walking scenic stops and even a little break for pastries — which became one of our favorite memories. During some free time earlier in the day my husband wanted to try pastel de nata but I told him I wanted to wait for the place Joel had planned. When Joel heard that he said he was proud of me and explained that Pastéis de Belém is the original — like Coca Cola — and the others are like Pepsi. That comparison made us laugh and made the visit to the famous bakery even more special. One minor downside was that when Joel dropped us off at the Time Out Market for lunch it was so crowded we could barely walk through it let alone find a table. Unfortunately we weren’t able to eat there and had to skip lunch. It’s a very popular spot and probably best visited earlier in the day or with a backup plan just in case. That said we would absolutely book this tour again and would recommend Joel to anyone visiting Lisbon. His knowledge warmth and care made our day in the city feel incredibly personal and memorable. Wonderful visit in Lisbon - We had the most wonderful tour of Lisbon. We were able to see so much of this beautiful city. Our guide, Joel, was fantastic. His love and pride of his city is obvious.

Fynd my Guide was a blessing. - A complete tour, in perfect Spanish, with everything interesting from all points of view. Take aim, Gilberto Abreu. We saw everything there is to see and were delighted. Lisbon is very picturesque, nice, pretty and different. With a good guide you see it in 8 hours with a car:Alfama, Chiado, Bairro Alto, Belem, bridge, Park of Nations, Star, Castle of S. George, lookouts, elevators, trams. It is 30% cheaper than Malaga. Nice restaurants and very friendly people. We have to go.

A busy day, but we sure got our... - <p>A busy day, but we sure got our money's worth! Our guide, Catarina, was WONDERFUL and intent on including everything that WE had on our list isn't it all about the guide?!, totally committed to showing us her much-loved city. Educational visits to all major must-see sights, and some off-the-usual-path sights, too like the gentrified area around the site of the World's Exposition, which included a cable car ride!. She also made sure that we had enough time to enjoy a beer in Alfama, and lunch with working-class locals in a busy shopping area garlic squid to die for! and that world-famous Pasteis de Belem pastry which we enjoyed without standing in line, thanks to Catarina. Comfortable, modern van. Loved the day, big time!</p>
