The town was initially renowned for its thrilling ski slopes, but the addition of the northernmost roller coaster has enhanced its allure.

The journey includes crossing the Arctic Circle and looping back to Rovaniemi.

The adventure starts with a picturesque drive to East Lapland’s Korouoma Canyon, home to Finland’s largest frozen waterfall and a breathtaking canyon, creating a true Arctic fairytale setting.

After exploring the canyon, the trip continues to Ruka, where thrill-seekers can enjoy the world’s northernmost roller coaster ride, which winds through snowy hills at speeds of up to 40 km/hr, offering spectacular views.
