- Duomo di Sant’Andrea - The most significant church on the Amalfi Coast, built in the 10th century. Visitors can explore the Arabian Cloister, St. Andrew, and the Church. The bell tower and facade showcase diverse architectural styles. Entry tickets are 3€ per person.
- Villa Cimbrone - This private villa offers one of the most renowned views of the Amalfi Coast. It requires a 10-15 minute walk from our meeting point, but the breathtaking landscape is worth it. Entry tickets are 7€ per person. The combination of panoramic views and well-maintained gardens provides a uniquely relaxing experience.
- Spiaggia Grande - Spiaggia Grande is the main beach in Positano, located at the end of a walk through the pedestrian area. From here, you can capture one of the most iconic photos of the Vertical Village:

Marco was absolutely AMAZING, and this tour was phenomenal! We loved every minute of our very personal and intimate day along th - The PERFECT DAY if you want to see EVERYTHING in a day along the gorgeous Amalfi Coast! Marco was the best guide! He was so much fun, knowledgeable, patient, funny, and he allowed us to customize our entire day , once he gave us a bunch of options based on his personal experiences! We absolutely looooved our experience!!! Trust me, you do not want to drive these crazy, narrow and winding roads, nor would you ever know where and when to stop along the way~ Leave it to Marco!!!!
Marco~ We cannot wait to visit again and we will be reaching out ahead of time to secure a spot again with you!!!!

Hosted like family - Incredible tour, Marco was fantastic, very knowledgeable of the area, accommodating, and engaging. We felt like he was one of the family and completely enjoyed his company. He was a great host, carefully to ask what we wanted to do and if we were enjoying everything. We used Compass for 4 trips and all were excellent.

Super tour of Amalfi Coast - My wife and I really enjoyed our day with Marco. Marco picked us up at our hotel for an early start. There was just the two of us so plenty of room in the comfortable vehicle. We were lucky with the weather, the blue sky and sunshine really shows the Amalfi coast at its best. Marco made stops where we could take good pictures and gave us a very detailed run down of the history and culture of our destinations, primarily Positano, Ravello and Amalfi. The time flew by and we really enjoyed our day out. We highly recommend this tour and with Marco you are in safe hands.

A wonderful tour with a wonderful Italian guide! - Our family of five ( Ages 42-72 ) had a wonderful tour of the Amalfi Coast with Marco, a very knowledgeable and exceptionally friendly and warm guide. We felt safe and very comfortable in his lovely Mercedes van and learned plenty of interesting facts about the history and culture of Italy and the Amalfi Coast on our journey. We made scenic stops and spent time in Positano, Amalfi and Ravello. Marcos went out of his way to accommodate us and we really appreciated this, we would highly recommend his tour company. Thank you Marco!!

Absolutely Wonderful. - We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Marco as our guide and driver. He is extremely knowledgeable and explained the history of Positano, the Amalfi Coast, and all the charming little towns nearby in such an engaging and easy-to-understand way. His stories and insights truly brought the region to life and made the journey even more special. Marco was professional, friendly, and very patient, always making sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. Thanks to him, we didn’t just see the Amalfi Coast—we really understood and appreciated it. Highly recommended to anyone visiting this beautiful part of Italy!

Wonderful private tour experience - My wife and I booked this tour as it was our first time in Italy and wanted to experience the Amalfi Coast without the the hassle of getting around in public transport and to also learn the background and stories of the region.
Days before our tour, Tony from Compass Tour, reached out to confirm our details and checked in to make sure we are ready for the tour.
On the day of the tour, our guide, Marco, picked us from our accommodation on time and immediately took the effort to find out about our interests and expectations with some simple questions. From there, he introduced all the sights along the drive from Sorrento to Positano and Amalfi, including all the smaller towns in between. He also stopped at photo spots, wherever it is safe, for us to take photos of the beautiful landscapes. At places where stopping is not safe, he would preempt us to get our cameras ready so we could take photos from the vehicle.
Marco was also very flexible and afforded us ample time to explore the different towns. At no point did we feel rushed.
Lastly, he also regularly checked in on our well-being just to make sure we were as comfortable as possible throughout the trip.
I would highly recommend taking this tour with Compass Tour for anyone who prefers private and customisable tours.

Fantastic Tour of Amalfi - We had a really great time with Marco on this tour. Everything was perfect, including communication. Marco picked us up right from our hotel, no need to find common pick-up points.
Marco was a fantastic guide, he regularly asked what we were interested in seeing and doing, and tailored everything to what we wanted to see. In our case, we did an olive oil tasting, many photo-op spots, and time to explore the cities.
We were traveling with our 1-year-old baby, and the luxury van had everything we needed (car seat, space for stroller, etc.).
Marco’s local knowledge, kindness, and attention to detail made this tour worth every penny! I highly recommend this to anyone visiting the Amalfi Coast. We will absolutely be using them again for all our future trips to Sorrento and southern Italy.
