Beautiful day trip from Pula to Lake Bled - Great day from Pula to Bled. Prepare for a very long day, started at 7 am, not back until 10pm. Very informative guide. Gorgeous cream cake in bled. Took the horse and cart ride around lake €70 for a cart with 4 people, guide arranged shared carriage but is very cramped so be careful who you get paired with! Swam in lake Bled which was gorgeous, warm and very clean. 2 x 1/2 hour stops for drinks/ restrooms on each leg of journey

Long day, but worth it. Lake bled very picturesque - Travelling from Porec took about 4hrs. Lake Bled was beautiful. Entrance to castle and the boat ride were good. Free time around Bled was about 2hrs. We managed to do horse/cart ride and swam in lake. Free time was a little rushed. Total time in bled about 4-4.5hrs. Certainly leaves you wanting more.

Fabulous Lake Bled! - We had a great day out at Lake Bled. As others have said, it is a long journey from Pula/Medulin but definitely worth it. Our guide, Mauro, was so knowledgeable and kept us informed about Slovenia and our progress throughout the journey, which helped pass the time. Lake Bled is absolutely spectacular and the scenery is amazing. The trip was very well organised, from timing of bus breaks to getting the tickets to the castle and arranging the boat trip and Mauro went out of his way to make sure everyone had a great time. We did the horse and carriage ride around the lake, which was very nice and a good way to see the lake from all angles. I would highly recommend this trip.

Excursion to Porec - Very nice little town on the Mediterranean Sea. Those who love small, narrow streets with many shops (Old Town). We were also amazed how clean it was. The residents there place a lot of emphasis on it. Everything also very quiet and relaxing. The local people were always very nice and helpful.

What an amazing day!!! - Amazing experience from start to finish. Our tour guide Micky was incredible! From the Bled castle stop, to exploring Lake Bled, boat trip and seeing the church, she knew so much about Slovenia and spoke very good English. There were 20 people in the group and they were all British and had a fantastic time. It was a long day we were staying in Porec and our pickup time was 7:45am and we were back at the hotel around 8pm. Definitely wear trainers if you can as it’s quite a bit of walking up steep slopes and stairs. We would do it again in a heartbeat and would 100% recommend to anyone visiting Porec.

Fantastic Lake Bled! - Brilliant, brilliant trip! We missed out last year on this due to a lack of numbers! This is a must if you are in Croatia. What place to visit and well worth the long journey time which was three to four hours in all. Lake Bled itself was very very busy but it really was worth it. I have never seen views like it. Castle visit included free time on the lake and then a boat trip to the island. We also had the famous cream cake. Our guide was warm, friendly and very knowledgeable.

Fabulous! ***** - Initially the thought of the long coach ride was daunting; however it wasn't an issue at all (with a couple of rest breaks either side). The time went by so quick and the coach was air conditioned. The guide was very informative and constantly gave an insight into the history of Croatia/Slovenia - with other titbits of information. Very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Lake Bled exceeded my expectations - breath taking views like something out of a fairy tale! Another experience ticked off my bucket list. We enjoyed views from the Castle; free time to walk around the lake and finishing off with a traditional boat (pletnas) across to Bled Island and St. Mary's Church. This is definitely not a trip to be missed!

Long day, well worth it - Really well organised trip, great informative tour guide. With some beautiful scenery. Well worth doing. Notes - the trip from pula town is longer than advertised. There is a really steep hill, that leads up to the castle entrance and either 99steps or another steep hill upto the church.
