- Diana Lookout Tower - Diana is arguably the most beloved tourist spot in Karlovy Vary. Visitors can take the funicular from Colonnade Street directly to this stunning location, which includes the renowned lookout tower, a century-old restaurant, a forest terrace, a butterfly house, and a mini-zoo. At Restaurant Diana, guests can dine amidst spa forests while observing peacocks. The Diana Lookout Tower offers perfect photo opportunities of Karlovy Vary and its surroundings. The butterfly house is an ideal destination in any weather. In winter, guests can warm up by the large fireplace in the historical restaurant, while in summer, they can enjoy walking paths through the spa forests starting right from the site. Visiting the “Tourist Area Diana” is a delightful and relaxing part of any trip to Karlovy Vary, and it is open year-round. - Mill Colonnade - The Mill Colonnade is a grand structure housing several hot springs in the spa town of Karlovy Vary. It is one of the town’s iconic symbols. The Neo-Renaissance building features a nave, two aisles, and measures 132 meters (433 feet) long by 13 meters (43 feet) wide, with 124 Corinthian columns. Twelve statues representing the months of the year adorn the portico. There is an elevated space for the spa orchestra, which offers regular, free concerts.
Architect Josef Zítek, who also designed the National Theatre and Rudolfinum in Prague, created the structure, built between 1871 and 1881. The original plan included a two-level colonnade, but budget constraints limited it to one level.
- Stara Louka - Stará Louka is a charming spot for a leisurely stroll. It features beautifully decorated historic buildings, numerous souvenir shops, and restaurants. As a pedestrian zone, it offers a peaceful and relaxing walking experience. The Teplá River and its lovely bridges add to the charm of this part of Karlovy Vary.
- St. Peter and Paul - The Saint Peter and Paul Cathedral in Karlovy Vary is the largest and most significant Russian Orthodox church in the country. Designed in 1893 by local architect Gustav Wiedermann, it replaced a substandard Orthodox chapel on Mariánskolázeňská Street. Funded by local Russian and Serbian nobility and entrepreneurs, construction began that same year, inspired by the Church of the Holy Trinity in Ostankino, Moscow. The church was consecrated on June 9, 1897, in honor of the holy apostles Peter and Paul.
- Market Colonnade - The Market Colonnade, a richly carved wooden structure, was built in the Swiss style by renowned Viennese architects Ferdinand Fellner and Hermann Helmer between 1882 and 1883. It underwent extensive reconstruction in the early 1990s. It offers a pleasant stroll through Karlovy Vary, attracting many tourists. The area features a beautiful building, thermal springs, and a scenic setting by the river, with numerous booths selling standard tourist items.
- St Mary Magdalene’s Church - The Roman Catholic Cathedral of St. Mary Magdalene is situated in the heart of the Karlovy Vary spa area, near the Hot Spring. The church is a prime example of High Baroque architecture and is one of the most significant Baroque monuments in both Karlovy Vary and the Czech Republic.
- Hot Spring Colonnade - This is the most contemporary of all the colonnades in the city, constructed from concrete and glass, which slightly diminishes its charm. It is fully enclosed, making it ideal during bad weather. It also boasts the hottest springs and a geyser.
- Park Colonnade - Only the eastern promenade wing, now known as the Park Colonnade, remains from the original complex. Between 2000 and 2002, Karlovy Vary undertook a major reconstruction of the colonnade.
- Vridelni kolonada - The Hot Spring Colonnade is located directly in the spa center of Karlovy Vary, above the Teplá River, near Divadelní náměstí (Theatre Square).
