Travel back to time in Prag - Jiri is a sympathetic and knowledgeable person with whom you can talk to easily! He brought us through different parts of Prag and gave us a lot of insights about them in the context of WW2. Additionally to that, we received bonus tips and recommendations for Prag. Absolutely recommended!

Great trip with fabulous and very friendly guide. - We really enjoyed our trip, when we learnt a lot about WW2 in Prague, specifically about Operation Anthropoid, but also about the history of the city and the country since then. Hana is very knowledgeable and clearly has a passion for history and for her country, but she is also a really lovely person, very warm and friendly. She went out of her way to put our group at ease and was so good at including us all and making it a very personal trip. Highly recommend 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Thank you Hana.

A must for history buffs - The tour was exceptional. Our guide Hanna was very engaging, knowledgeable and open. A fantastic guide through some dark parts of history but always a reminder of the human cost. Our family had a brilliant time. Thank you.

Hanâ was extremely knowledgeable and made the tour hugely informative, really interesting and added a lot of detail surrounding the historical background to the Czech Republic. I couldn't recommend the trip and Hanâ as a guide enough.

An Exceptional WWII Tour with Hana - Highly Recommended - We had the privilege of experiencing a private WWII tour in Prague with Hana from Local Historian Tours in late January, and it was truly outstanding. Our group of four—my husband and I, along with my daughter and her boyfriend—came away deeply moved and enriched by the experience. Hana is a remarkable guide who combines warmth and approachability with an impressive depth of historical knowledge. What made our tour especially memorable was her ability to tailor the experience to our specific interests. She clearly listened to what we hoped to learn and seamlessly wove those themes throughout our time together, making the tour feel personal and engaging rather than generic. Her expertise in Prague's WWII history is evident in every story she shares. She brought the city's past to life with vivid details and compelling narratives that helped us understand not just the events themselves, but their human impact and lasting significance. She balanced the weight of the historical material with her personable nature, creating an atmosphere where we felt comfortable asking questions and engaging in meaningful conversation. For anyone interested in understanding Prague's experience during World War II, I cannot recommend Hana and Local Historian Tours highly enough. She offers exactly what you want in a guide: deep knowledge, genuine passion for the subject, and the ability to make history resonate on a personal level.

Best Tour in Prague - We did the History of Prague, World War 2 and Heydrich walking Tour with Hana. She was an outstanding guide. We covered so much of the history of Prague and the Czech Republic (WWII and post war). She was fun, personable, warm, knowledgeable and a great source of comment on life in Czech (past and present). We learned so much and will make sure to book with her on our next visit to Prague.

If you like WW2 History, you will love this tour. - I love WW2 history and I had already read several books about Operation Anthropoid before visiting Prague. So, I was very happy to find a tour that took me to the places I had read about. Hana was a great guide. She was fun and very knowledgeable. The tour was everything I expected and more. I learned quite a bit and it was nice to have a local guide to ask other cultural question of, since I was new to the Czech culture.
