A very informative and emotional experience related to the suffering of the Czech people during World War 2 . - Anna was our tour guide—local Czech woman who gave us a very passionate and emotional account/tour of the Heydrich assassination and the bravery of the Czech Resistance. We had previously seen the movie “Anthropoid,” and this tour did a great job of explaining some of the finer points. Well-paced, 2 1/2 hours that we’d recommend, even if you’re not a big history buff.

Czechoslovakia during World War 2 - The tour guide was well prepared and well informed. He was also happy to answer some questions that went slightly outside the original material scope. We have learned a lot. The Czechoslovak people have made tremendous sacrifices in the battle for freedom from fascism.

Great Tour - BEST TOUR EVER Hannah was an amazing guide. She gave in depth knowledge about awful times in Czech history in a passionate manner. She was funny and really helpful, taking us on the tram as we had older members of our group who found the cobbles tricky to walk on. We stopped for a refreshment break and was given the opportunity to see pictures and artifacts from during the war. The tour takes in many details in which we would have normally passed by. The next day I visited the communism museum as I was intrigued about the next chapter in Czech history.

Very much recommended - Interesting and informative. Paval really knew his stuff and was an excellent story teller, providing insights and background information. You could tell he is very passionate about his country and this topic. I was the only person on the tour, so I had an excellent experience. Very much recommended for anyone with an interest in this era of history.

Budapest extension from Viking River Cruise - Our Guide for this tour was wonderful. Very informational and a great mix of history and culture experienced. Getting her perspective of how life had been in Prague the last 40+ years was very eye opening.

Thought provoking with great content! - We did the Prague: WWII Anthropoid guided tour, yesterday and Pavel (sp) was our guide. It was extremely interesting and the photographs and genuine documents that he had to show us really added another layer of authenticity to the tour. Pavel is quite obviously passionate about this chapter in Prague's history and his detailed storytelling had our undivided attention. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

Operation Anthropoid 🇨🇿 - It was an interesting WW2 tour in Prague. I was surprised we didn't go to the actual site of the killing of Reinhard Heydrich 🤔 Apart from that it's well worth doing!

Disappointed - I really struggled to understand the accent of the guide. I stress this was not the guides fault. Maybe I could work out maybe 40% of what was being said. In addition I also felt the tour commentary (the parts I could understand) was disjointed and assumed a reasonable amount of prior knowledge.
