Fun, tasty and informative. - Brett was an excellent cooking instructor. He’s smart and funny. We had fun preparing and tasting a nice variety of foods. We made potato pancakes, dumplings, beef (with wine, onion and mushrooms), and cream roll (pastry with merengue). We also tasted sausages, cheeses, jam and bread. We everything was fun, easy and tasty. My favorite was the cream rolls. We chatted about culture, food and history.

The best ever! - I was looking for an authentic experience in Prague that did not feel touristy and this fit the bill. Bret was awesome and so were mu classmates. We made delicious food and it was amazing how simple everything seemed. I will definitely enjoy making these traditional Czech dishes when I return home to Kansas City later this month.

A pleasant afternoon - A bit hard to find but worth the effort. Brett is charming and made us feel like family. Brett has an interesting back story on his career and how he came to start this business. Thoroughly enjoyed explanation of difference between Hungarian, soldiers and Czech goulash. Methods used to prepare meal are simple (25 minutes for almost everything) and results delicious and unique. We had potato/sauerkraut pancakes, goulash with bread dumplings and pastry tubes filled with meringue for desert. Yum. A bit pricey for a couple. Perhaps Brett and Aida could offer a discount for families

Great experience with Bert. Definitely recommend. - Bert was fantastic. This easy going class is informative fun and tasty. A great way to get a little feeling of Czech culture and taste food prepared from handed down recipes. Bert is kind and easy to work with no matter your skill level. In addition to cooking you’ll have the opportunity to visit a speciality shop and get a few tips on what to look for while choosing ingredients for your meal. Delightful conversation good wine and other surprises makes this tour too good to pass up. In an area away from the old town tourist area but easy to get to by metro taxi or Uber.

Delicious, informative, clean - Bret taught my class with just myself, he was a fantastic host with lots of local knowledge on cuisine and local restaurants. Bret was a great teacher and his English was very good, everything was explained with lots of detail and I can't wait to recreate the recipes at home. The flat was very clean and very tidy with lots of wine and snacks on offer. We made duck breast with a cabbage salad and dumplings with a sweet pastry for dessert, everything was absolutely delicious. There were also various meats, cheeses, pickles, jams and bread to start, all very delicious. A really fantastic experience and would recommend to anyone wanting to experience local Czech cuisine.
