I really enjoyed the entire trip — it was such a memorable and peaceful experience. The hike through the Bohemian Mountains was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views that made every step worth it. It was the perfect balance of nature, fresh air, and quiet beauty. 🌲🏞️
Our guide, Katka, was the best! So friendly, kind, and very helpful throughout the journey. She made sure we felt safe, comfortable, and even shared fun and interesting stories along the way. Her positive energy really made the hike even more special.
Everything was well-organized, smooth, and relaxing. I didn’t feel rushed at all — just free to enjoy the moment and connect with nature.
Would definitely recommend this experience to any of my friends. The Bohemian Mountains are truly a hidden gem, and with Katka as your guide, it’s even more amazing. Thank you for such a beautiful day! 💚

- Tomas was an incredible guide—friendly, knowledgeable, and full of fun shortcuts to the best views. He made the history come alive and ensured we never missed a thing. As amateur hikers, we appreciated how attentive he was, especially on the slightly challenging first hike. The scenery was stunning throughout, and the whole day was well-paced and memorable. Highly recommend this tour for all!

An amazing day of hiking! - I highly recommend Northern Hikes! My 15-year old daughter and I took the Hikers' Top Three Highlights tour, and the entire experience was smooth and well-organized from start to finish. Northern Hikes provided clear and helpful communication before our hike, ensuring we were well-prepared and had proper transportation arranged to our hotel.
Our guide was friendly, kind, and incredibly informative. We learned so much about the Bohemian and Saxon Switzerland region, took in stunning views throughout our day, and enjoyed a delicious lunch. The pace of the day was perfect. Our group was never rushed, which allowed us plenty of time to soak in the scenery, ask questions, and take photos.
While my daughter enjoys hiking, I was a bit worried she might get bored with such a long day. Especially since this was her second trip to the Czech Republic within a year. She was definitely tired by the end, but she told me it was the highlight of her entire trip!

The best, beautiful day! - We had such an incredible day! Martin was the most amazing host. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. The hikes were just the right level for us - we got to see amazing sites. We already want to come back for another tour!

A beautiful day out of the city. - Great trip, beautiful national park, with some stunning architecture thrown in.
Highlight for me was going down in the gorge. The air so clean and full of oxygen, I'm starting to seriously wonder why I live in a city. The hike was very easy though in my opinion. You don't have to be an experienced hiker in my opinion. Guide was wonderful too, knowledgeable and sweet.

Absolutely amazing - What an amazing day, made even better by Peter our guide. A very knowledgeable and caring guide.
Making sure all of us felt comfortable throughout the day. His local knowledge was next to none about factual information, mythological history and local folk legends. I would definitely recommend this tour and the lovely Peter to show you all the way. Thank you to Peter our amazing guide and Katie and Jamie whom were our friends for the day.

Great Day Out - Petr, Our Guide was great, he was informative and great company. The views and the hike were a great experience and thoroughly enjoyable. Great traditional Czech lunch at a local restaurant near the gorge. Would highly recommend to travellers thinking of booking.

Amazing hiking/incredible views! - A truly worthwhile day trip from Prague- Tony was a terrific guide, very knowledgeable and professional and fun!and provided great insight to Prague and to Czech culture. We visited three major spots- included some great hiking up to Pravcicka Gate (largest natural arch in Europe) and down to the gorge for a serene boat ride as well as a visit to the Bastei bridge in Germany. Gorgeous views and stone peaks . Trip included delicious local
lunch as well as snacks and water provided by Northern Hikes. Comfortable van transportation included. Highly recommend this one day getaway - don’t miss it! Thank you Tony!
